canon in c is a whole step lower than in d.

d and c key are popular because string instruments(at least for me) were taught in

D major and C major on piano is easy because there are no black keys used.

@SuperGirl24681 Yes it does. If it's a f;at or a sharp, the bars are thinner and darker. But since this song has been modified from its D original to a C, there are no sharps or flats. You can go look up this song (Canon in D) so you can see and hear the difference. I like the original version better than this one just because that's how Pachebel wrote it, so I'm sticking to the D.
