When they rolled off the ford line, they were only about 1400 pounds. Its a go cart with a v8.

09 gtr runs the 1/4 in about 11.5. A 30's ford would do it somewhere in the mid 10's with around 400 hp

It means the body is mounted on top of the frame rails instead of channeled over them.
