@NOUNZYKRANZA I want to find the video too! Nickelodeon Rocks used to run it on their channel when it was released. I think this was a huge hit in Canada. One of the best songs she ever did

I wasn't a fan of Anne Murray's but when this song & video came out I was impressed............I wish I could see the video!! I remember it but it's been a long time since I've seen it!

Agree! The 1984 video to this song was wonderfully sweaty and sexy. It HAS to be found again! :P It was a revelation coming from the Snowbird/You Needed Me-lady, that's for sure.

This was in heavy rotation on the kids video show Nickelodean Rocks! Made sense as it was a Canadian show, but I would love to see the video again. Done in the best black and white "Film Noir" style

I wonder if anyone could actually put on the original video for this song. It was pretty "risque" for Anne. It even was a "World Premier Video" on MTV back in the day and it brought on a legion of new fans despite the song and the heavy synth sound trying to blend in with her smooth alto.

If anyone locates the video, pass it along! I barely recall it, but I remember I LOVED it. I first heard Anne because my Mom listened to her, but my Mom never believed it was her in the video when I showed it to her back in the day. She swears Anne was too pure to be so "risqué". HA! It was totally risque as it got slot time on MTV before there was a VH1! Anne was a bit of a "Playa"-ish in it.

I looked but just can't find it. It's 1 of those songs/vids branded in my head from when it came out on mtv. She had a thing for this ripped cowboy toy. My parents liked her but this song/vid is my fav.

Thanks for checking. It definitely was a show stopper...just remember the trailer in the middle of the desert and some old chevy driving off - well that and the cowboy. Def one of my all time favorite songs

I always loved "That's Not the Way" but it flopped as a single. Don't think folks could accept Anne with all those synthesizers!
