  • The slips are colored with mason stain. The slips are technically terra sigillata.

  • how do you color the slip? is it underglaze?

  • Hi , yes that was a white grolleg porcelain slip with a little ball clay, mixed to a thick cream consistency. The slip in the trailer is the same stuff with a black mason stain added as a colorant. Denise
