in the hand of auto pilot. the rule of thumb is you only take off manual, cruise on auto and anything but perfect weather condition let the auto pilot land. The pilot only earn his 200 grand a year once or twice a year when there's an emergency landing.

i just want to ask a question. like a week and a half ago i went to sydney and a little bit before landing (this was night time) in sydney my brother noticed an orange light that was diagonally down about 40 metres infront of a helicopter. you could still see the outline of the helicopter (maybe about 200m away from the plane not 100% sure) and the light was a little bit smaller than the helicopter. anyone seen anything like that? i just want to know what it is if it is something normal.

hi all, if it is virgin atlantic it is A340-600 and it lands between 0700 and 0730 daily at sydney airport.... i know this for certin i work on the airfeild.... cheers )

Yes. It's one of their main aircraft. 747-400 and 340-600 are what they use.

There is nothing wrong with a camera. It doesn't transmit or receive signals and is powered by battery.
