@sphirex I don't have access to a pro store so I can't get face and body in White.. Is there an alternative on the website? I'm very pale and have dry skin around the nose area so every foundation I've used, makes it go all flaky:( any suggestions? Also, where do you buy your eyeshadows/false lashes? There amazing!! What if you have neither an olive nor a pink based. I know that sounds ridiculous but pinks, even the lightest are pinker than I am and same in reverse with olive tones. My skin mostly shows blue (bcuz of my veins) I have no idea what to do with it.

SO GLAD I found this video. Holy grail of pale skin vids. I have tried SO MANY foundations, but none have been pale enough. So far, MAC Studio Fix Fluid feels the best on my skin and offers me a coverage that I love, but like you have found, NC15 isn't white enough. I do have access to a pro store, so I'll check out the face & body in white. I need a foundation that will stay on all day without melting - is the MAC combo a good one for that?

i bought the studio sculpt NW15 and the illamasqua in R105, and i love them together. it matches my skin perfectly. the only problem is, no matter what i set it with it doesn't seem to stay matte :(

Nothing will set them matte 'all day'. To stay matte I like to use a good oil-control primer like MAC spf 50 (blot off the oilyness it leaves on your skin with a tissue before you apply the foundation). Set with a loose powder like MAC prep&prime powder. I then take this loose powder out with me with a brush (short 129 is great) and reset my face every several hours - or whenever you look in the mirror and see a slight sheen on your nose or t zone.

I was wondering if you could give me some pointers as of what color and formula i should try from illamasqua?

Right now I'm using Studio Sculpt in NC15.

My problem is that NC15 actually matches my face, but my face is darker than my neck and chest-area, so it looks relly wierd :P

So i would prefer to go a shade or two lighter than NC15.

But since i have to buy illamasqua online, i have no idéa wich color to choose =/

I do like the formula and coverage of Studio Sculpt though.

Watching this tutorial makes me realize I have a very challenging makeup situation: I'm a neutral undertone (not pink, gold or yellow), I'm very fair, I need a higher coverage, I have very sensitive skin, and I don't have a lot of money. Thx 4 this info on pale foundations!! I haven't been able to find any to match my pale skin. Anything light or ivory is terribly dark! The best thing I have found is Jane Iredale cool sand (which is dcd & impossible to find now) I am going to try NARS siberia also, have you tried that or anyone?? I am definitely going to try how you mix yours, I don't think I want to be quite as pale as you (which is just gorgeous thou!!) but I think it could work if I adjust it. :o)

I went to the MACpro store a few weeks ago, they looked at me like a deer caught in headlights when I asked if they had any paler foundations and setting powders. Kryolan do a white setting powder you can get from either their online shop or from places like Screen Face and Charles Fox in Covent Garden. Illamasqua are owned by Kryolan so it's very similar.

MAC Full Coverage in white, is pretty much the best thing that has ever happened to me. I mix a little with Studio Sculpt NW15 everyday. I find the gel base doesn't clash with the Full Coverage formula at all, it sheers itself out to around a medium coverage and sets quicker than Sculpt would on it's own. Brilliant! Never felt better in my own skin tone :D Great video, subscribed.

I'm pretty sure theres no MAC pro store in this country but a friend of mine works for MAC (just a normal counter) so I'm going to ask if he can get his hands on it.;D I generally use Illamasqua but its more pink than yellow which isn't great for me, and it tends to come off easier.:c
