Hang it up dude. i saw Jim and the boys a few times and , unless you duck-walk at the end it just ain't there. JoKing. nice job.... thank you for the lesson.
@privettricker i think '71 and 73 in Pittsburg,PA at the Civic Arena and 3 Rivers Stadium. I had tickets for 2 other shows. The first Robert Plants 5 year old mysteriously died, - tour cancelled, and you can guess the second. keep up the good work!!!
@privettricker I took your advise a few weeks ago and instead of going right to google and searching up tabs for a song, I try to figure out bits and pieces of it out on my own now. I'm still not really good at figuring out chords or kind of complex sequences, but I can definitely figure some parts out on my own now. It feels so much cooler figuring it out on your own, much more rewarding.
@compulseable for me i suddenly could.. i found it fucking hard then one day i could do it :L now i can work out any song fairly instantly.. including this one. check out my channel for my cover of it BTW :D
You have that tone ABSOLUTELY perfect. DO not ever change a thing to it. I always see people covering Zeppelin songs and their tones are just disgusting, this is one is amazing.
I fucking give up! Honestly. You make me sick with these limitless perfect covers of all my favorite rock songs. Please tell me you don't have a job or social life and play guitar all day just to make me feel better about my playing..?
@roflmao791 It looks more exotic than it really is. That's just barring my pinky across the DGB strings. It's a partial F chord. Then you slide it down a little.
Hey man, what model is your les paul? I have a 09 Les Paul Traditional pro. It sounds and looks an awful lot like yours, (besides the chrome pickups.)
Maybe it's just cus I got the Marshall JvM as well though.
@kaphillum I used to have a '79 LP that was wired for coil splitting and in-out phase. It nailed a lot of Jimmy's tones perfectly. Should have kept it.
I thought all the standards said standard on the truss rod cover, guess that threw me.....anyway its a real looker....and you play so very well, please keep these vids coming, then maybe one day I'll learn to play my paul :))
@privettricker Yeah I saw that with Black Dog. Lawyers with time on their hands, like I'm gonna record your lesson and use it to listen to The Ocean, c'mon, what, was I born down by the seaside?
what settings are you using? D:

@rubenrhoads Sorry, I don't pay much attention to amp settings, but I'm sure I had the bass turned down to almost zero.
