Americans can't understand accents... for some reason... not English or Aussie... it is very common for (newer) entertainers from those places to be told by handlers to drop the accent as best they can so ppl focus more on what's being said and less on how it's being said...

I work in major music industry... and i'm British. I've heard Brit artists told to do as such on numerous occasions stateside.

@JohnnyyyK thats fair, I do remember her accent being stronger, but even so....I' watched her in every episode of H&A and her accent eased...to me she sounds very Australian in this video no faking an accent... but u must hear it different than me....also if we're using the word "stupid" dont u think its a tad stupid to get ur back up over the way she speaks....if it is meant to be a "US" accent who cares shes learning....
