When I listen to this song, it seems that it is actually asking us what we would do if that was Jesus, a true test of where our values are as Christians. What do we do when we see a hobo? Do we try to help them or just walk away. God test us all in one way or another.

Jesus wont be coming back as a hobo nor a junkey, nor will He return on public transport. When He returns it will be on the clouds as King of kings and Lord of lords and everyone will know it's Him when they see His Glory shining from east to west, then even the atheists will believe and fall to their knees, if not out of reverence for Him then certainly out of fear of Him.
