Using a rope to "Launch your boat into the water" from the boat dolly. A great concept accept at some point you might actually have to mount a motor to your boat. I guess you have to be in the water to accomplish this?
This would be an excellent idea if.........You could actually have a motor on the boat when you are "easily" transporting the boat to the water. You don't have any photos or videos showing how to accomplish the easy task of getting your boat to the water, without having to make an extra trip to get your motor, or having to fight to mount the motor at waters edge.
Thanks for the great idea! I am sorry I didn't buy one, but I didn't like the stability of yours, and it doesn't look like it would go over rough terrain well due to the pull backwards. I modified your design and mine handles very rough terrain. But all credit goes to you! This was my second attempt at a boat dolly, and I am thrilled.
Just drag the boat back out on the bank. Puling it out in reverse is the best. It also helps to have rope attached to the front of the boat for more leverage.
