  • great video, had my Uke for just 3 days and I'm finding it so cool to pick up! best instrument to learn ever! I think once you get a feel for the Uke and learn your rhythm on it then the songs just fall together easy, thanks!

Everything else has mostly been some pleasant sounding but disconnected chords.

  • It took me 2 days to learn 5 years time - noah and the whale, a basic strumming pattern and 3 chords, and it took me 2 hours to learn this. Thank you so much, you're an amazing teacher! <3

  • Wow! This is one of the best tutorials on Youtube. Thanks!

  • @TheSsd8 Thanks - glad you liked it. I'm a total amateur, but thought I'd share what little I know.

  • Wow! This is one of the best tutorials on Youtube. Thanks?

  • You have one of the best tutorials here! Are you a music teacher? It's like ukulele for dummies! (that's definitely me!!) You make it so easy the way you teach it

  • This is the first video i've found n 4 weeks that has explained fully how to play a song, and I managed to learn it fairly quickly.

    Thanks you so much.

  • @Mattacake My pleasure!

  • Hey, great Tutorial, this is the only one so far that I have found useful, Im gonna post this on my facebook so more people can see it. My Ukulele is very cheap so sounds nothing like the way your playing, I think I may have to re-invest in a better one.

  • thnaks so much!

  • err.. I think that you have your stings labeled backwards. The one on the bottom is the first string, and you count up to the fourth sting as you get closer to your face.

  • hey, i have a question, i just bought a ukulele, and there were three different kinds at the guitar shop, like a classic, soprano, and something else? but i got the classic, and the chords sound really different than the ones on your uke, is that ok?

  • You might want to check how it is tuned. I am using standard ukulele tuning, which is G C E A. If you have the same tuning, it might just be that your ukulele has different tone to it. Good luck!

  • Thanks! Btw, you're a really good singer!!

  • @Erypaint Thanks! I think my singing needs lots of help, but I appreciate the encouragement.

  • Great tutorial!

  • @andlee71694 Thanks!
