  • "presspass", we don't even know about most of the hits, so how would you know how they go down? Because of something Henry Hill said? Eh.

  • This geek is an idiot.

  • If you understand the term Royal peerage...

And the term and concept of Landed lords and ladies of a house of commons...

And you understand that Italian and European "families" are legitimate and AMERICAN "families" are insecure gangs based on lacking material wealth or status in a degrading society...

Then the term "HIT" we use the term to "wop" someone upside the head...and usually they had to come from their castle on the hill or "Mountain"...

Man usually meant their life partner...

    33 32 31.

  • look up the iceman he was a mafia hitman, scary interveiw one of the best things i ever watched

  • wrong Henry Hill was not a mobster he was associated with the crime family. in order to be a real mobster you have to be 100% Italian to be a full member. hill on the other hand was 50 % Irish and %) Italian. so technically he wasnt a mobster just associated.

  • @cmf8594 50% irish 50% sicilian

  • what said makes sense about the mob using hitmen. They used them once to kill Danny Greene then the hit man turned states evidence. in one episode bobby and tony were talking about death and tony says I bet its like fading to black. so there you have it

  • Henry Hill was a RAT.

  • Can someone please tell me how the hell this vid explains the ending of the Sopranos?? I mean are you telling us that the strange guy who was sitting in the diner didn't kill Tony cos he was an unknown?? Seriously! Seriously!!

  • what's the building pictured on the back wall as Tony enters? Also who are the players depicted on either side?

  • The Sopranos Ending sucked as bad as the No Country For Old Men ending ..another yada yada ending .SUCKS !! I don't care how you explain it!

  • hey fuck u man i dont get wat your trying to say but the sopranos ending was awesome

look how everyone is still talking about it

  • This is an interesting video with a lot of facts about actual mafia life, but I don't see much a whole lot of value in it as far as an explanation of the Sopranos ending.

  • @hopkins4545 Dude, such anger. You have me all wrong.

  • you dont know whats happening in montreal, back in the days you are right mobsters wouldnt hire hitmans to kill bosses, but nowadays, like what happenned in montreal in 2010, they hire gang members do to those hits... Like in the case of rizutto jr in montreal. and his consileri

  • Dude your a douche. I dont think tony got whacked btw hes a big boss. no one would whack him and you dont know shit bout the mob really cuz if u did ud be dead.

    they are to clean.

  • @xXBiggienPacXx He died at the end of the show!

  • FIGGLIOS DE PUTTANA I FAPTOBLACK THATS WHY MOOYA'S ARE NOT "OUR THING" CUZ IF YOU REALLY WERE YOU JUST MIXED UP AND CONFLICTED YOUR PEOPLE BASTARDO VAFFANCULO ASS FUCK

  • Hire hitman

  • Actualy they do hire Birman my grandpa used to be in the mom asshole you think you know everything

  • if tony gets whacked, who gave the 'Okay'? could it be just some random individual whose parents got whacked by tony? tony fell into a karma trap just like sonny in the bronx tale?? could it be it's meadow who got whacked instead of tony just like a scene in GF3? the truth is it's unclear..why would they make an ending that is not clear and left the viewers to assume? remember about assumptions are the mother and brother of all fuckups?

  • sammy the bull was a mob hitman who ratted out gotti

  • Comment removed

  • Could the black out be the last thing that Tony will ever see? Do you believe that he was shot and that it was lights out. I have also heard that you never see it coming (when it comes to how it was explained in GoodFellas. Henry Hill mentioned that you wouldn't hear a thing or see it coming (he said this when he was arrested for the coke just before going into witness relocation). He said if they were wise fellas, you wouldn't hear a thing. What's everyone else's take on this one?

  • Oh i also should add if you're trying to bring up flaws in the "TV Mob" then maybe you shouldnt use a movie as your fact source. think befor you speak

  • Richard Kuklinski. The iceman. He was a hitman for the mob. soooo what about the real life mob not hiring hitmen????

  • Fans can't accept that it was a "life just goes on" type of ending. Keep trying to find some ending to tailor to your liking guys.

  • @ilikeclouds I agree with this outcome as well . It is what the Journey song implies. Chase is so very creative abd thought provoking that I would not doubt that he chose the very name of this group as to say that this was a sort of "Journey" in the life of the sopranos.

  • @nostalgiakid1980 Dude I never even thought about that. That's an excellent point

  • Great. Thanks for posting your interesting comments. Best wishes from Jolly old England

  • well then what about the hit on Rusty Millio?

  • interesting point. I lik eyou sign off too, I will do my best to be terrific

  • Okay, so a Jew is telling us how the mob works? Weird.

  • I think you're forgetting about Meyer Lanksy and Bugsy Siegel just to name a few

  • @bostongary LAMO

  • @bostongary Like Meyer Lansky, Arnold Rothstein? Jew Hating Fucking Scumbag

  • I remember this post.

Anyway man you need to remember that the sopranos is just a show.

The real mob may not hire hitmen (that's not 100% true but we'll go with it), but in world of the sopranos they do.

You need to understand what is real and what is not.

Anyway man I admire your optimism, keep up the good work.

  • Dude, its a TV show, you dont know shit, keep your mouth shut bro

  • @MrMarijuanaICECOLD You are tough. I will make it a point not to step in your path.

  • I hope you read this! Because I too study the mob from a recreational standpoint but must add a very intense and factual stand point. And I agree with this video 100%. Sopranos does get a few things wrong for cinematic purposes.

  • thats what im talking about ! if your gonna play it out, let see tony fights it it out!!!!! sorry David i think you got bought out !!!!!!

  • i will be terrific, thank you

  • is this guy a boxer ?

  • He imagined it.

Very clever editing. He stops and looks at seating area, then imagines himself sat there.

(Why edit it like that? If this wasn't intended, why not have him walk in then watch him sit down? Why would it be edited in such a way that Tony sees himself sat in the diner, unless you wanted to convey that he's dreaming/imagining the events to follow.

I believe he imagines where he'll sit, what's gonna happen then blacks out (panic attack). Bada boom.

  • for instance. what if tony saw the trucker coming at him with a gun and he shot him first? the black dude would be next up and probably take out tony before he can turn around. And likely the family would die also since there witnesses to the murder.

  • you don't know for sure if those guys in the restaurant like the black dudes. the trucker. phils cousin. we're hired by mob bosses to pull off the hit? as far as I'm concerned they all had agenda's and reason to kill tony. in the end. even if the screen didn't go dark. there were multiple players at that restaurant that would succeed in killing tony even if one failed.

  • LOL goodfellas was based 30-40 years ago, maybe even more, cant remeber exactly, but henry hill was around the 70s era.

In the past 30 years alot of changes have happened in the mob, and especially NJ mob which isone of the oldest family, but still seen as an ugly step child, cause of their small size. The old rules no longer apply now, the mob have become as messed up as society, everyone is messed up and thats wher egos, not following orders, and ratting out is coming from

  • Comment removed

  • Cogent commentary. The makers of 'The Sopranos' tried to get it right with real life. This video may not prove that Tony is alive, but it at least proves that Tony's fate may not match real life.

  • What gets me about the Feds is they are hypocritical...Quote from G F 2 when the senator from Nevada mentioned how evil and corrupt the Corleone's were. The Don simply replies, " We're all part of the same hypocrisy." The families takes care of business and their own. Always

  • I don't care what this guy says, the last episode of Sopranos (real or not) sucked dick on a level that is off the charts!

  • Yeah! you got that shit right!!

  • i read an analysis on the last episode which made perfect sense, and totally floored me. once you "get it", you have no choice but to be like "holy shit, that last episode was brilliantly done".

  • do you have a link ?

    That'd be nice

  • Comment removed

  • it won't let me post an address... so just google the following phrase:

"sopranos definitive explanation of the end"

it's an excellent (but long) analysis.

  • thanks a lot, I just saw on your Chanel your video on M Rogers, that was so Hilarious !!!! thanks again.

  • Hi Mr Presspass. Please google "sopranos ending masterofsopranos" and go the website.

This is an in depth explanation of the ending and explains exactly why Tony was killed at the end. We can't compare the real mob to the Sopranos mob - so not all the same rules apply. Members Only guy was the hitman. Please read that website and see the truth. I also believed the "life goes on" ending until I read this site.

  • yea mets!

  • Jimmy Burke was a gangster yes. So was Henry Hill. You tell people to shut the fuck up but did u pay attention to the movie. I guess not. Henry only told the Story himself. The 3 main characters, Henry, Tommy, and Jimmy were associates of the "bleep" crime family. Really, they're helpers of the family, not even members. The only one who comes closest to being a soldier (which is actually the lowest rank) was Tommy.

  • Hello Mob bosses Never kill anybody above them? thats why Paul Castalano is still alive

  • @nitz1964 what does this have to do with anything? Is there some "obvious point" here you're trying to make that I don't get? I don't even understand this question. How can mob bosses kill anyone above them when they're at the top in the first place?

  • why .....clown

  • In the US, Frank? There is no such thing as the mafia in the US. It was always played out by the media to cover larger political issues, more to make the public look another way. There was never a such thing as the mafia. Smarten up.

  • have you ever heard of al capone if u did u wuld kno that there is

  • You sound like an idiot. The mafia has used hitman many a time, although it's not apparent when because a lot of murders go unsolved. I'm sure every mafia related death you've heard about has a connection with the organization itself because they found the killer. Although, all those hundreds of bodies that show up year after year with no explanation and just sit in the morgue, who knows, maybe the syndicate killed them, maybe a hired gun hired by the syndicate did. You can't be so sure.

  • you can most definitely be a mobster without being a made member. actually your sounding real dumb, there are many different mobs all over america of all different nationalities, russian, irish, italian chinese etc. and as a matter of fact you dont have to be 100% italian in order to be made in lCN, only your father has to be italian regardless of what was said in goodfellas the movie. john gotti jr. was made and his mom is part jew. were meyer lanskey and bugsy seigel not mobsters either?

  • LOL!! Henry Hill was not a real mobster! He was an Italian Irish mix, meaning he would never be made, or even greatly included in any big decisions, unless planned by low level guys.

Henry and Jimmy were slightly connected, but were not true mobsters in any scene. And the reason he said the quote about being killed by people you knew was because he was a low level guy, and there was no need for a hitman. A low level guy is easy to whack, because he is told what to do and where to go.

  • Henry Hill was indeed a mobster. He just wasn't LCN. Ditto with Jimmy Burke.

  • @DetectiveCrockett77 They were both LCN but neither were made.

  • @dussin23

No, they weren't. They operated and associated with LCN. That's probably what you're thinking of.

  • Jimmy Burke was a stone cold gangster so shut the fuck up,and you dont have to be italian to be mobbed up ie Irish,Russian,Jewish etc fool.

  • there is a difference between a mobster and a made man, anybody can be a mobster.

  • If your in the mafia, your a "Mobster" or "Gangster", if your made, you van be called a "Mafioso"

  • @GlennQuiagmire you ,sir , are an idiot

  • How the hell do you know that the Mob does not hire hitmen? And you said that a boss can never be hit by someone lower than them right after you talk about Gotti hitting Castellano Gotti was lower than Castellano. So theres one more thing that you dont know what your talking about. Watch a couple movies and a little A&E and you're an expert. Get out of here with that know it all crap

  • Mob does use hitmen you ever heard of the Iceman?

  • They had to hire black guys so Tony doesnt find out it was his uncle wanted him dead

  • Wrong hit.. he's talking about the guys Chris hired to hit Carmine Lupertazzi, but Johnny Sack changed his mind at the last moment.. that was when the black guys were paid half, and immediately killed by DiMeo soldiers.

  • this guy is an idiot

  • i thought 1 of da 2 black guys hired was shot in the head

  • actually gotti was parked around the corner of the steak shop with sammy the bull and two other guys. it was winter time and 4 guys in trench coats and black russian winter hats stood outside waited for the car and shot the driver and paul castellano

  • The show worked as an analogy of the 'American Family' and the mob part was just a device. Focusing on that will get you nowhere. In the end 'Don't Stop believing' in the lies you tell yourself. Tony's entire family has stopped struggling against the evil that Tony does to support the family and have totally bought into the bullshit. Just like the American Family.

  • This guy reminds me of Steve Bartman.

  • First you say you can't compare the fictional Sopranos mafia to the real mafia and then you do it yourself like 1min later. I still think you're being stupid with the hitman thing. Wouldn't it make sense to hire guys that are not connected to the mafia so that the trails would lead away from them?

  • no the black guy's were hired to run a train on tonys daughter.lol.dick in the and dick in the pussy.

  • hes right, remeber when they hired black guys to whack tony.

  • Whether the mob would hire hitmen in real life is irrelevant since we are talking about a work of fiction. I mean, do real mob bosses openly see shrinks? And the fact that the previous hits never materialized and (in your view) were a mistake by the writers doesn't make your reasoning any more correct. Besides, anyone who would confuse a family with a crew can't know much about the real Cosa Nostra anyway.

  • Tony didn't die, come on. This show was like a window on Tony's life for roughly a decade in story time. His life goes the same way it did before the series, maybe in the future he does get wacked, or arrested and convicted but in Tony's life that could have happened at any time. It just didn't in the during the time period we got to observe the characters life.

  • so in the end, when it went black for that moment tony got shot in the head. why would they have it black for that long before showing the credits? that moment of black was tonys POV of his own death. and when he died that marked the end of the show. great way to end it, in his POV, just like the way the show starts.

  • Interesting theory, the more i think about it it the more it makes sense, bcuz that cat thing always spooked me, good job

  • metaphorically speaking of course but the cat was tonys gateway to the underworld. big clue that tony was gonna die in that episode. and he does so in the best way to end the series, in his POV. when u see the opening credits, who do u see? tony. this is his show

  • this is what really happened in the diner. tony got whacked. there were clues. 1st - flashback to tony and bobby, where bobby says when it happens, you dont see it coming. 2nd and foremost, the cat. in egypt they were seen as the gateways to the underworld. it had the attatchment with chris picture. tony has the attatchment to the cat, tonys gateway to the underworld.

  • idiot

  • everyone shut up

this guy is cool and hes attackin the pricks who think tony died!

  • P.S. Taking another look at the clip online I just realized the B side, listed on the jukebox, of the Journey track is ANY WAY YOU WANT IT. Not subtle but, I believe that pretty much sums it up.

  • Good call Michael, you obviously know your mob history! Thanks for sharing your insights.

  • Another jackass who thinks hes a mobster informant, Go back to your moms tits

  • Lets whack this mutha

  • STUPID FOUR EYED FAGGOT

  • I'll never watch anything by press pass again...

  • dude ur a retard plz stop u think u know shit but u dont just stop tryin to explain shit in the mob just stop mob movies are not always like the real mob stupid shit head

  • This guy is a fucking retard, seriously DURKA DURRRR DUAISFJKLADJFKLDJLFJSDKLFJKLSDJFKLSDJL FAGGOT, nice kitchen, SHIT FACE!

  • HAHAHAHA. I cannot STAND it when people talk about the mob like they are IN the mob. This is rediculous.
