Hi. I bought these recently and I can't seem to make the mic work in my pc. It doesn't recognize the mic and the pc just uses the mic of my webcam. Any tips on how to fix this? I really want to utilize the mic cause the mic of my webcam isnt good

All Apple self branded earphones sound absolutely awfull. What's the point in buying an expensive MP3 and using incredibly cheap headphones? It's worth investing $150+ in some good cans, like Etymotic or Sennheisers, both very good for their cost.

No you can't they are only for iDevices.

well actually you can use them on any device with the 3 lined at the jack... and has to be 3.5mm... you can still use this on any other device with a 3.5mm jack for listening to music but you cant record voice.

The Apple headphones with remote work with the Touch 2G. The remote functions will not work with a 1st gen iPod Touch.

I do not think they will. These have a four conductor plug. The first gen Touch does not. You would not be able to use the microphone or the remote control features.

I use these on my LG Dare. If you have a standard 1/8 inch jack on the phone they should, but keep in mind the remote features will not work. I use mine just for a headset to talk on or to listen to music.

These were specifically designed for the pod touch 2G. They don't work on the 1G ipod touch and they don't work on the Mac...

I suppose it could work with a PC if you had an adapter to convert the four conductor plug to a separate Headphone and Mic jack on the computer. I doubt the volume and play/pause control would work.

Great question, unfortunately I do not know. I believe it is specifically for the 2nd Gen iPod Touch, the new Nano and the new Classic.
