I'm confused what sled ya got there buddy. There is no mxzx 440 for 2004 according to kelly blue book. There are mxzx's for 550's and up unless they aren't listed or something?

@punkrules45 this is a race sled, its not available to consumers. you can only get one if you buy it used, they only sold/sell them through racing teams.

ALL MXZX ARE LIQUID COOLED. Late 90's MXZ 440 were fan cooled, but the 440 X's have always been liquid cooled.

That rattle sound is the clutch. i had the same thing it will cost you about 200 dollars.

haha no, if its really warm out you may have too. i never did. it ran fine throughout the winter months.

yup, the sled runs on 93 octane. It is not oil injected so you have too mix the fuel 40:1. I never added oil injection because i didnt really ride it too far, just around my house and some nearbye trails.

yeah its very reliable, but right now its running on one cylinder. all season it ran great and was fast as hell.

tonys ticonderoga sports, a local dealer. I had a few problems with them though so i dont really reccomend buying anything there. They told me the sled was trail converted (running on pump fuel) but it actually ran on race fuel. I had to spend a lot of money and time converting it

85, but race sleds dont have a really high top end. They just get you there faster than a lot of 500, 600, or 700 cc sleds

I think it is kind of fast for you and is your first sled and if so i think it is to much. They are a race sled after all i would say a 500 (i know it is a bigger motor but it is more of a trail sled). And yes there is a lot of maintenance needed with a 440 like you will need to keep an eye on your ring and if they go (they are a race sled so they are built light and well it isn't that strong) you will need to re build the motor but that can happen with any sled just a 440 will need it more.

it would be a great starter sled for a 15 year old but u might want to look into somethin a little bit bigger mayb a 600 or 500

probable not this sled really any 440 is a good starter sled. Not too hard to drive and not too fast for the beginner rider.

uhhhh no you cant its just another way of turring it off.....maby if your at a high RPM and you just kill it then ya, but also the 440 racers dont have keys so you have to pull the tether or use the kill switch.

no way will you keep up to those. off the line, you might have the,m. top speed though, about 80-85. they really are a short burst race sled though
