What makes me sick is most people overlook the 2003 Boston Red Sox. Hardly anyone remembers that team. They just know what happened in the end. 2003 in Boston and around New England was great. Positive energy all around. The bats were working. The defense was unreal. They scared the Yankees shitless. I'm not ashamed of that team at all. I'll never forget the 2003 Boston Red Sox.

The 03 team was awesome, I think they should have won it that year too. I think if Pedro wasn't put back into the 8th, since he was done (pointed to the sky) he would have gotten the win in Game 7 and they would have won the World Series. Pedro would have gotten the glory, not Schilling.

Millar is a world series hero. He helped dismantle the yankees which was the biggest collapse (choke) in sports history. Thats why you looked him up in the first place. It still stings and always will.

If you mean that he played a big role in getting a walk in the 9th inning of Game 4 in that ALCS, you would be right.

Otherwise, I would say world series "hero" is a bit of a stretch for him. Schilling, Bellhorn and Martinez had big roles in ending the curse in that World Series, Millar not so much.

As for the Yankee loss in that ALCS, you always learn to move on. Red Sox fans could speak to that with distinct authority.
