  • Can I ask you- my mam lived on Newman Street. My brother and I were down there other week with 1923 map. All gone but Harding Street and Harrison Street still there. Do you remember Newman Street and Mitchell Arms ?

  • Cheers Jogally. Didn't realise it was you from the map reading post. Can't teach you anything about Ancoats. Good vid this and your music sounds a bit like Kinks/Hollies. We went in the Mitchell Arms. Shame as Landlord told us about all the change and doubt about his future and pub. Nothing left really. What area is the photo on 00.46? Incidently I noticed Permanoid factory on- did a year there in 70's. Great vid also on Ashton Canal Ancoats & Beswick locks eerie. My mam got married All Souls

  • happydays 3.12 theres a groyup of kids sat on a wall at the end of starr ave,im the kid on the far end sat near my sister angela.most of the group are cousins and freinds thanks for the memories.

  • Wow. Ancoats has changed a lot! I lived there last year just off Every Street and there is some major regeneration going on now. There are some pics of Ancoats and Miles Platting in a video i've made on my Channel.
