Can I ask you- my mam lived on Newman Street. My brother and I were down there other week with 1923 map. All gone but Harding Street and Harrison Street still there. Do you remember Newman Street and Mitchell Arms ?

We went in the Mitchell Arms. Shame as Landlord told us about all the change and doubt about his future and pub. Nothing left really. What area is the photo on 00.46? Incidently I noticed Permanoid factory on- did a year there in 70's. Great vid also on Ashton Canal Ancoats & Beswick locks eerie. My mam got married All Souls

Wow. Ancoats has changed a lot! I lived there last year just off Every Street and there is some major regeneration going on now. There are some pics of Ancoats and Miles Platting in a video i've made on my Channel.
