I've been prowling around the PF vids for a few weeks now and I'm really pissed. They were my generation but I never took an interest in them. What a mistake. If only I had known a concert like the one at Earles Court was possible I would have made sure I was there - somehow - anyhow. Alas I am relegated to watching it years after the event on YouTube. Sigh! I will buy the DVD though, at least that'll be a bit better quality.

This is one of the best concert ever. The video quality of the DVD is very good. It includes with a new camera angle that replaces some scenes. I think I'll take this DVD than the VHS or Laserdisc.

I like the slap bass. It's the lack of Roger's vocals that makes me like some stuff on Pulse less than their earlier work. Anything that's supposed to have Roger but doesn't makes David sound really weird.

I love the bass played by Guy Pratt here. Very funky. Gives it a different feel. DOn't like it? Fair enough, but their are a few live performances of this about whih keept the original feel.

Pink Floyd turned into an average 80's/90's rock group after they split up with Roger. Sure Division Bell isn't bad, but its obviously not amazing, in comparison with the work they created alongside Roger.
