euh. i have call of duty modern warfare 3 on my wii. But i have to do an update to play but if i install the update my wii is F****. and i have somthing like hombrew chanel... do i have to do that update to play or is there an other way. to play.. could anybody help me. Sorry for the bad Englisch

you could use a normal SD Card, though for smaller ones such as Micro SD you'll need an SD adapter

go onto your channels list in wii settings/wii console settings/channels and click on the homebrew channel, it should say copy or delete, click delete and its gone.

as far as I know all that 4.0 does to effect homebrew channel is make it so that Twilight Hack-0- can't be started, but if you don't want to take the knowledge I know of, you might want to ask someone who knows more about it than I do.

they do let us hack... they just don't let it happen on games that are ranked such as Mario Kart Wii. Even though they don't want us hacking at all, they just don't let you if you do on ranked games.

The only thing that I see is the same shit everytime on these video's...I want to instaal homebrew on my wii. I updated it when I had my internet-connection. Later I found out that it isn't possible to put a new version of homebrew on my Wii.

Is it possible to put homebrew on it after you've updated to 4.0e on a new and clean Wii or not....

I don't know if was mentioned already, but having the HBC on your SD card changes nothing. Of course, if you still have the HBC on your Wii, you'd be able to run HBC from the SD card (from what I've noticed), however, without the HBC on the Wii (if you deleted it), you can't load the HBC from the SD card, and can't copy it back over to your Wii. I'm quite sure there's a way to get the HBC back onto the Wii, but I haven't figured it out yet.

Hey Mate, You seem to know alot more about the homebrew channel and 4.0 firmware then me. lol. like an idiot i updated to 4.0 through nintendo with out thinking about the homebrew channel, as the 4.0 blocks the twlight hack idk how to put the homebrew channel on as people have tolded me it doenst work on 4.0 after you have updated. is there a way to upload it and making it work and going back to 4.0?. if you could tell me, it would be much thanked. =)

you could try getting the 3.2 downgrade if possible, or try getting the homebrews channel folder (HAXX) and maybe that could work. I can send the HAXX folder to you if you have a messenger or something to send files through. If my answer is too vague, you can talk to LOLOmgWthWasThat, he knows much more about this than I will.

Please help me. I have recently updated to wii 4.0, and the homebrew channel is still up and running.

However, when I try to install VC or wiiware games, it does a bit and then says something about a ticket error.

Does this happen to you and if so how do you resolve it?

i have a question. i updated my wii to 4.0 from 3.4 and now when i put games on my SD card and take them off my wii, it won't let me load them from my SD card unless there is the same file on the wii. do you know how to fix it so i don't have to have the same file on the SD card and the wii.

strange, personally I haven't removed any of my games from my Wii so I've never had that issue, well you might need the games on the Wii to play the games, I'll have to check in on that.
