OMG i am so proude of you both. Melanie for taking that very scary step and Peggy for being so understanding. I came out to my now wife and it was total rejection for me . we are still together but this is a subject that isnt discussed. yeay you to. you keep doing it for the girls !!!
Thanks you, such a touching video of true support unlike many of this lying society. People like you just make me even prouder to have a girlfriend like mine.
What a wonderful team. Thanks for the vid Peg and Mel. It's been 2 years since I came out to my wife and while she is still with me, she wants nothing to do with my crossdressing. "It's not the man I married". Of course I am but I should also have told her many years ago. By the way, I fully recommend Peggy's book "My husband wears my clothes" to anyone thinking of coming out to their partners.
omegastar013: To answer your question, hate stems from fear. Fear is an inability to understand. A lack of understanding is ignorance. In order to emerge from ignorance, one must be taught to understand so that fear is thwarted. Enlightenment is the beauty of intelligence and love illuminates the way. (wink)
they shouldnt educated people from universities, they are already educated enough to understand... educated the hood, cus alot of hateful ,illeterate people come there
thanks so much-I only found out after my father died that he was a cross-dresser. He never was "out" and I believe the stress of it contributed to his tragically early death. How I wish he had the support to be who he really was, to share it with me.
thank you so much for your imput and opening your lives to the public, i am a cd and have been married to my wife for 9 years, 2 weeks ago i found the strength to tell her about jenifer and the best part is that she accepts me for who i am. thank you for your insperation
Usually, someone who hates something or someone that much is seeing something that they see and hate in themselves and would rather remove all reminders of that self reflection than to face it.
Personally, I don't understand why cross-dressing is such an issue. I guess we get strong impressions and directions growing up that tell us what is acceptable presentation for a male or female, which is really rather sad, since there is a whole continuum in between.
thank you, i am soon to be married to my cross-dressing partner, and as a mtf transsexual my self i see this story helping us become more in turn with our inner self's and not being so afraid to show our love
one thing every one should remember
love has no boundaries, age, race, gender, or disability
you are married to a CD. Makes no since for people to be so hateful to someone they know nothing about. You are a great couple. You have both helped many people.
I'm not surprised that a homicidal psycho would live in the Ft. Worth area, but that's incredibly sad. He must be a serious psychopath if he wants to kill crossdressers or their wives.

Beautiful story. Beautiful. I find it heartbreaking that Peggy and Melanie are threatened with violence, just for being themselves.

@shinyeyedwomyn I agree with you wholeheartedly. People in Houston are still homophobic trolls.
