People used to mine in lowsec. Blobs were a 0.0 thing only. Megathrons used to be a solid solo roaming ship. I've been watching the old Garmonation videos and reminiscing about the old days of EvE and I really, really miss them. I only wish I knew then what I know now.

They may suck now however this video was made when they first came out and they were very mean back then. well there tank was there dps always been crap...
My drake has 65k ehp and dishes out over 600 dps, I have no idea why anyone would say they are crap. Drakes are so versatile. Just all these pve fags that don't know how to fit for pvp and do passive tanks instead of buffers.

Actually I started in 05, but that's beside the point. :p Sure you can make a drake tank like a beast, but what use is that in pvp? fitting a drake correctly and it will be a great asset in any fleet.
@Cata666999 Drakes are passive tanking legends. If you think they suck ass, then you are either highly confused or just stupid. They aren't meant for dealing out massive amounts of dps like other ships, they are to go down slowly. My Drake has about 180k ehp, with all skills to level 5, and so yeah goodluck taking that down quickly. Also, in a fleet of 80 or so Drakes, you don't need to worry about massive amounts of dps because the sheer number of Drakes make up for it.
@Jake114153 I know this is epic necro, but tbh you're doing it wrong. I'll show you a Drake fit that has an 85k buffer and 712 DPS. And YES, it will hit for full damage against other BC and higher hulls with maxed skills. Faction DPS is 650, and hits cruisers for full damage.
Sadly yes. The chat window (top left) lets me check on how many people are in the system, so i dont get jumped. The system scanner (bottem left) lets me check what ships the people that are in the system are flying so im not out-gunned and the short range scanner (top right) lets be lock ships close by fast with out clicking on them in open space. The rest of the interface (bottem) lets me check on my shield armore and hull and gives me control over wepons. hope that explains
It is true that the drake has a good tank and a passive tank at that. However the shear DPS of the megs with gyrostabs on the low is just too much. Drakes are good against there own kinde however comman ship upwards there pritty usless, as the DPS of the drake is rubbish.

Check out my other vids there is one of me killing a Gedon, myrmdon, fexor, Ammar desy (cant remeber name), and a meldiction on my own and a few of there barges also. Also the vid u just watched had a raven warping in a few secs after that finished wich i pawned also however the music wasent long enough to show. One of my other vids has the reven kill in it however.
Its is a very complex game to learn about when you first start, but it becomes so much more enjoyable, as theres alot of aspecs to it, just different from other online games, but thats what makes it pure gold :D

eve-online is a single surver game every one who logs onto the game can meet each other with out swoping survers like runescape and WOW. Iv also played runescape and WOW and eve is much better its awsome. When you start playing go through the Tutorial and you should get the 'jist' however this game is much more complex than runescape and WOW so be prefered to feel like a small fish in a large sea for a wile :) enjoy m8
Too bad this game is only for people who have played it for 2 years.. without the skills that evolve through time, you are useless in PvP... everywhere in this game is PvP area... so unless you hide in High Security space... you will get killed.. and each time you loose a ship.. you have to earn for a new one.
iam sure you have not tryed to pvp much because if you had you would find out that in a gang all pilots are welcome. train for 2 days and you can start tackling for a gang np. PvP does not just take skill point it takes knowledge and knowledge

You do have to pay per mouth yes, but if u buy time codes insted of using ur credid card it will only cost u 7 pounds a mouth. The 21 day trail is good you will get the jist of the game in 21 days, but most of the game will not be open to you as it takes time to train skills and such. If i was you id do the 21 day trail and see what you think its an amazing game and im sure you will like it :D.
yes it is pre paid of run 30 day's u can pay 15$ a mouth or ingame money to per paid card's wich can cost u around 300mil isk for and they many ppl in this game that help u out in starting and it is erey awsome game

its annoing being in an anti-prat corp, i can no longer just go out to test a new fit on people in random pvp situations, or any of that :(
(the above is to show how fun it is to be a prat ^^, it is not me complaining, as obviously all i need to do is find a fun prat corp, the finding is the hard part though, ive found some interesting ones but none which seem really fun and good for ISK income :P)

Drake imho is no solo pvp ship, perhaps a damage sponge in gang and/or remote repping. It just can't deal out the dps required in solo pvp.

Do u have to pay for this game per month? If so whats the price per month. Im downloading demo right now so ill be looking into it... Oh and is it worth downloading th demo if you can only play for 21 days or do u not have enouugh time to enjoy the game? I know its big but thx

You do have to pay per mouth yes, but if u buy time codes insted of using ur credid card it will only cost u 7 pounds a mouth. The 21 day trail is good you will get the jist of the game in 21 days, but most of the game will not be open to you as it takes time to train skills and such. If i was you id do the 21 day trail and see what you think its an amazing game and im sure you will like it :D.

yes it is pre paid of run 30 day's u can pay 15$ a mouth or ingame money to per paid card's wich can cost u around 300mil isk for and they many ppl in this game that help u out in starting and it is erey awsome game

i miss being a prat :(
its annoing being in an anti-prat corp, i can no longer just go out to test a new fit on people in random pvp situations, or any of that :(
(the above is to show how fun it is to be a prat ^^, it is not me complaining, as obviously all i need to do is find a fun prat corp, the finding is the hard part though, ive found some interesting ones but none which seem really fun and good for ISK income :P)

PVPa ? is u meen PVP then yes its very wurth it as alot of the modules that are fitted on enemey ships will be left in the reck after it goes pop and that meens lots of isk'es hehe
