The Wii add-ons and the HDTV for the PS3 aren't necessary. I play shooters just fine on the Wii without the zapper. You can play the PS3 without an HDTV.
But a 360 without a hard drive? You really need that. A lack of Wii zapper or HDTV isn't really limiting your gaming experience. Being unable to play some of the 360's best exclusives like Forza 3, Lost Odyssey, etc., being unable to install games to nthe hard drive, being unable to play XBLA games, now THAT'S console limitations.

I hope you know that the developers does not sell their game to the retailers for 60$ ? Retailers aswell as gamefly buy the games from the retailers at the SAME cost. So either way developers get their money. Gamefly rents out the games so more people can get it, if everybody bought their games, and they werent what they seemed to be. There would be alot of used copies of games going second hand = no money for developers or retailers.
You lost all credibility when you said that to have a good gaming PC you have to spend a ton of money. I can build you a gaming PC for $700 that can run even Crysis on max settings. It wouldn't have to be upgraded for probably another 7yrs. Even then it would only cost between $150- $200. Know what your talking about before you speak.

The 360 does it, and the Wii certainly does it, but the PS3? Not so much...
You don't need a Sony TV. You don't need a Sony Surround Sound System. You don't even need a Sony HDD. There isn't much direct motivation for a "Gotcha!" when the platform is so open.
I think the overall point of mentioning Forza 3's install is just to show a weakness. The fact that a racing game is even on multiple disks is just ridiculous in my book.

The Wii add-ons and the HDTV for the PS3 aren't necessary. I play shooters just fine on the Wii without the zapper. You can play the PS3 without an HDTV.
But a 360 without a hard drive? You really need that. A lack of Wii zapper or HDTV isn't really limiting your gaming experience. Being unable to play some of the 360's best exclusives like Forza 3, Lost Odyssey, etc., being unable to install games to nthe hard drive, being unable to play XBLA games, now THAT'S console limitations.

because truth never says the same thing twice he says something in 1 vid such as mandatory installs for the ps3 and how they dont matter and in another he says they do matter for forza 3 sounds like a hypocryte

not sure if your joking or not, but it think truth meant was that instolls on ps3 arn't a big deal cuz u have a HDD on all ps3s, but on xbox360 not every1 has 1 so the game comes with a disk that some ppl can't use if they got an arcade and still don't have a HDD. if all 360s came with a HDD then it wouldn't be a big deal either.

I hope you know that the developers does not sell their game to the retailers for 60$ ? Retailers aswell as gamefly buy the games from the retailers at the SAME cost. So either way developers get their money. Gamefly rents out the games so more people can get it, if everybody bought their games, and they werent what they seemed to be. There would be alot of used copies of games going second hand = no money for developers or retailers.

You lost all credibility when you said that to have a good gaming PC you have to spend a ton of money. I can build you a gaming PC for $700 that can run even Crysis on max settings. It wouldn't have to be upgraded for probably another 7yrs. Even then it would only cost between $150- $200. Know what your talking about before you speak.

Microphone quality sounds EXACTLY the same man, no improvement at all, at least not that I can see
tell me this, how many people will install the 2nd disc of F3 for the "full experience", 99% methinks, if not 100%
and how many people believe that a HD TV AND a Surround Sound system are needed? They're not mandatory IMO
He's not a consumer? jesus christ I lol'd, he buys games, whether he rents them or not, therefore HE IS A CONSUMER, SOME money will go to devs regardless or where you buy them
