You probably felt closure because being in LA was awful, but being where you are now is going pretty good -- you feel like you've gotten past/above/beyond it, like you overcame it. 

Since you overcame it, you can digest what happened now without feeling awful. Kind of like when people conquer a particular fear and then go back and look at what once scared them, now that they aren't scared anymore. You realize you beat it, so you can put that baby to bed now and rest easy.

That shelter in La looked intimidating. Massive room way too many people to find comfort. It is clear you are better off where you are now. IT is why I am a major proponent of urban stealth camping. Folks can avoid detection but it is too dangerous for females unless they are armed and ready to deal with threats this means gun then run. If I were female on the streets I would do my best to appear male if I were stealth camping. You hear about some nut killing HL serial killer Orange Co. Ca.?

@cdltpx yes I have, but the thing is, I heard this person was targeting white men between the ages of 30-60. I also heard this person was attacking parolees.
