a mi ya ma ha pasado la primera vez no se lo que hice pero le aprete todo lo que podia apretarse y se compuso,apenas me volvio a pasar y desarme la tapa del display le desconecte el flexor del display lo limpie y lo volvi a conectar y volvio a verse. intentalo antes de cambiarle el flexor

i had this problem with my old 6111. when i slide up the screen is white...now i have a samsung corby and is GREAT

.. i had that kind of phone once.. the problem is that the flex ( or the strip to make displays in the lcd screen ) is ripped or teared inside.. you should repair it to a cellphone expert.. here in the philippines.. it costs 800 pesos to fix it..$3.00 in us..

es el cable que va del telefono a la pantalla......esta haciendo un falso contacto.....tienes que encontrar la forma de unirlo de nuevo......talvez con un pedazo de aluminio...saludos¡¡¡

i have the same problem, i'm text messaging and all of a sudden the screen goes blank and switches off itself.. that happends like every two weeks or less....

to fix this problem need to replace LCD Screen Flex Cable Ribbon. can you find it in EBAY.

Same as the video above showed a blank screen too after I dropped it. Upon opening it up I discovered that one of the springs that aids in sliding the phone up/down was knocked out of place hence cutting thru the 'flex/data cable.' IMO this is a design flaw b/c that cable runs in between, not 1, but two of those slider springs. Solution, a cellphone repair shop will replace the cable & place the spring back into position. Simple, but it cost me $50.

It's been happening to my N70 for quite some time now... I loved it until it started happening. It has gone from a reliable phone with unbelievable battery life to a nuisance.

The white screen only comes up sometimes, and usually comes up right after the screen gets all garbled up.

Anybody know how I can fix this?? :(

and i had my ribbon changed probably 5 months ago before this "white screen" thing soon hit it.... i so loved this phone especially the looks....

this is exactly the same thing my 6111's experiencing now!!! plus it shuts down automatically.. now im planning to change phone.. probably an Nseries.. and hopefully less turnoffs...

you need 2 get it repaired its the sliding mechanism that was failed i had that problem once
