Did you guys now that "Take The Money and Run" the real first film entirely written and directed by Mr. Allan Stewart Könisberg - or Woody Allen, 'juste par les amis' - was completely shooted during 1967 in San Francisco..?
Certainly a nice birthday gift but for me it doesn’t work. I see the spanish cultural influence in so many pictures, the complete lack of the neurotic abyss of New York City, and above all: Mr. Königsberg made an explosive allusion with the Manhattan opening which wasn’t understood in 1979. I think he knew.
Absolutely fantastic! Almost as moving and exilerating as Allen's original, especially knowing it's 'real life'! Shot choices are perfect - it feels timeless. Cudos!
Psst! You can't do this with with San Francisco, especially not to the tune of Gershwin who was Brooklyn born and bred.
You do have a wonderful city, though.

The title for America's 2nd city is split between L.A., Chicago, D.C. and so on.
BUT if L.A. did not existed, then San Francisco would look much better and in many people's minds it would definitely be this country's 2nd city.

One problem - you left out the parade of crazies on Market St at the BART stop :)

very clever and humorous, the bay area rocks. Gershwin should have traveled to the west side more often.
