I've always thought that Nietzsche himself would reject some of, if not a great deal of his own philosophy if he could have time traveled from his time to present day. He needed a better understanding of Darwinism.
Sorry about removing ur other comment. I meant 2 hit reply but hit remove instead. I've re-posted it under my moniker. As for Nietzsche rejecting his own philosophy what parts would he have rejected and why.
I think that science has put the cork (to an extent, not entirely), on philosophy. I just think that since Nietzsche was such a staunch truth seeker he would of had no problem tapering off and trimming up his philosophy. (Total speculation of course. Our new knowledge very well might have emboldened him.) Darwinism shows that we are merely mechanical. Im intoxicated though and he hated drunks. He woulda bitch slapped me for writing this. lol
I disagree. I think science has raised more philosophical problems than it has solved. Scientists are no closer to answering why anything exists at all just ask any phyicist. Don't be worried about being bitch slapped by Nietzsche. He wasn't a very physical man so I think you'd be ok ;-)
"I've always thought that Nietzsche himself would reject some of, if not a great deal of his own philosophy if he could have time traveled from his time to present day"
not really accurate. Nietzsche knew what was in store for the 'present day', hence his philosophy 'of the future.'
Nietzsche reffered to himself as a 'herald and precursor' and spoke of the 'philosophers of the future.'
so, can i use math to 'interperate' what this has to do with Nietzsche and a better understanding of darwinism? keeping everything in context, of course.
'Beee hotch'
LOL!! in keeping with my age and not my shoe size, all i can do is laugh at that.
digression aside, i repeat, what's to say Nietzsche did not have a 'better understanding' of darwinism? maybe keep it contextual? if you're not too intoxicated, of course.
We are consequence to the laws of physics imposing. There is no "philosophy". Our thoughs fall short of everything. We are a Universe of atoms, an atom in the Universe. Bitch.
lol jk. For real though life is meaningless and Nietzsche is mainly needed to unlearn our religious upbringing. Social upbringing...
God is dead, yes, and so are we. So is all. "Cornbread flatness" is equally as meaningful is "Universe". We don't know what we are talking about. We are nothingness.
@jack19790 Many aspects of Darwinsim he criticized are in the beginning stages of being rejected by cutting edge scientists...history is not moving away from Nietzsche...it is finally catching up to him.

@jack19790 Hey, I know your comment is 3 years old, but I was wondering in what way you think evolution disproves Nietzsche's ideas? The transition from man to overman isnt a biological matter, but a psychological one.
Is this what you meant, or did you mean something else?
in the future; everybody wears sunglasses. who doesn't know that!?

Darwinism and the other branches of science has show that language is not the best way to interperate the cosmos. Its math. Beee hotch.
