I watched that gold medal game. We didnt win just because of him but he played a huge roll in the first half while it was close and hit a big shot. He was def big for us in the gold medal gain. I was goin crazy at the house by myself for that game. One of the most passionate games I ever seen.

Kevin Martin is definitely not Dwyane Wade. He is a great shooter but not so elite compared to Wade overall. Wade is much faster and gets the team going with the same speed.

Both players are good. You could put either one on any team in the league, and they would both make the team instantly better, no doubt. If you're a Heat fan, I doubt you would say no to having Martin on your team. And vice versa for Kings fans with Wade.

People shouldn't sleep on D Wade... The man who took miami 2 n won a title 4 em (not 2 mention Shaq)... but look how he killed in the olympics... He's killin like that this year too @ the top of almost every major stat catergory bsides rebounding... Wade is in the top 5 best players in the league, n if he stays healthy n can make a run 4 the east, he'll easily be #1,2 or 3 (Wade, Lebron, Kobe, but not necessarily that order)

even if you gave Martin a better team, he still won't win as long as he's the franchise player. He doesn't have the skillset that franchise players need to be good franchise players. Kevin Martin at best is a good second option.

Wade is better than Martin at defending, ball handling, and passing. Martin is better at three point shooting. They are about equal in everything else.

kevin martin will be better than d-wade in the long run the kings are already building the team around his play they draft and traded player that are long and athletic and who can run up and down the floor with him the heats drafted player they dont need look at it they draft beasley who play the same position as haslem do and draft a shit load of shooting gaurd that shows you how much faith they have in wade and at one point wanted trade him for the number 2 pick this year before the nba draft

if you trully watch basketball, you should know that wade is a far better player. you're comparing a potential allstar (martin) to a superstar (wade). wade has already proven himself that he's a superstar (1 ring and gold/usa) and martin has proven himself for a spot on his team, that's all pretty much. the video games don't lie too.lol. wade is ranked way higher than martin. now until the kings win a championship with martin, you can say, "i told you so!"

Basing your argument on video game ratings is weak, but I do think Wade is much better all around than Keven Martin. Both can score but Martin's defense doesn't exist. Wade can at least hold his own. Martin also doesn't pass as well as Wade.
