  • i enjoyed your vid but one thing I cannot agree with, the stealing of jobs by illegals and yes they are as they did not enter this country the right way so does that make me a racist? as I'm not one so to compare the black fight for equality with the illegals is wrong. Otherwise great vid.

  • More to the point... Are the illegals really stealing jobs, that you would want, or is that just what the powers that be... would have you believe? Is oppression of any group of people justified, for any reason? Is it right that the U.S. government has driven massive numbers of people to become an illegal... through NAFTA and after that the WTO (All in the name of profit for the big corp.)? Are the tactics of ICE justified? I don't believe they should be here either... BUT...

  • When does your time machine flash forward to the modern day equivalent of: May 4th, 1970?

  • The time machine re-run of May 4, 1970 - hasn't happened yet. I do think it will be showing at a theatre near you, soon though. Might not be in Ohio though. There might even be a mention in a rock song.... 100 dead in Calif???

  • I am probably the yougest poster here, I can safely say in about 30 years from now this will all repeat itself again. I will be there. I will have all the documents I will have located. every year I save the contents of my research on disks, which are put into safe keeping. It will become increasingly hard for the bad people to hide the mistakes of the past, and future generations will become aware once they stop drinking the koolaid. Cheers! Mike, London, On.

  • Very Very good 5star all the way i realy like the work that you put into this thanks again

  • Yeah and in Denver they had "Urban Combat Drills" before and during the Democratic National Convention.

Interestingly you point out some very good parallels between now and then. One big difference, is technological advances have allowed more people to learn about the truths you have made apparent here. But I wonder if that a disservice, because it would seem complacency is pretty common place whereahs, less technology, more face to face interaction led to action a desire to change circumstance

  • heprebel here. interesting ... you have a truly original and out there perspective. it's eerily right on the money!!!

  • I was 10 and lived in a small town. Don't really remember much of this at all.

My kids won't have to remember they know whats happening.

We just keep doing the same crap over and over and have for thousands of years.

    Peace

  • very nice video carlstens. Those who cannot learn from history are doomed to repeat it.

  • and repeat it and repeat it. Good job Carlstens, thanks for the history lesson! I never knew about the hong kong flu, I was 3 years old in 1968. Thanks. Noreen.

  • hisotry repeats itself all the time.

Tidbit 1968: I was three years old and we were on a plane from Cuba to the United states.

  • "there is iron in your words of life...."

yup, the modern generation, and your generation and mine too, seem to have the memory of a microwave pop.... *ding* .... oh goodie my poptarts are ready.....

  • unrest and change - dejuvue all over again

Perhaps, we need to spend more time studying history in this country.

  • Very tragic, very true. Here we go again.
