Everybody calls this astonishing human masterpiece "Manhattan of the desert." I hate the analogy, even if it's a helpful cognitive process. Shibam is SHIBAM.

How come people don't know about this city!!!
Its more than 500 years old and I guess all building are more than 4-storied.
I don't think any other residential buildings in those times were even near the height of these "towers"!!
