Hey, he does Dusty Rhoads inpersonations very well. It was the best thing that ever happened to him leaving WCW because they didn't know how to write for him. It was same with Hulk and AWA. Stone Cold Steve Austin in his heyday was actually in my opinion, more fun to watch than Hulk Hogan in his his heyday.

I never knew about this interview. I didnt' follow wrestling much in those years. But I can see that when he got fired from ECW, that really lit a fire in his pants, to prove to them that they were wrong. This interview seems to represent the largest pivotal point in Austin's career.

WCW deserved to die...pushing wrestlers 10 years past their prime was the norm in WCW and giving them political stroke sealed that wrasslin companies miserable fate...the ones who got out of that piece of shit and went to the WWF were lucky and actually saved their credibility...Malenko, Gurerro, Benoit, Saturn, Paul White, Jericho...when they jumped ship to the WWF/E it saved their credibility as workers.

Within the span of 3 years after making Austin the franchise the WWF went from near bankruptcy to being a billion-dollar company. Awesome promo! I can't believe WCW had Steve Austin jobbing for Buff Bagwell and Alex Wright( the 18 year old German Kid.) Austin had more talent and charisma than both of those stiffs combined. I think that this was shot around 1994 or 1995, not sure though. one of the true greats, before he was Stone Cold.
