ok, played f1 2010 for 2 hours. the physics are awful, no where near as good as rfactor. in f1 2010 the graphics are great, but it feels like what it is, an arcade game//.....

F1 2010 is obviously not a hardcore sim but it is not an arcade either. Codemasters have made something in the middle.

@Shockwavers360 F1 2010 is neither... it's literally held together with rubberbands. The player car is just Grid open wheels in a dress, without the sense of speed. The AI doesn't exist. The tracks, unfortunately, fall victim to Bernie's F1. The wet weather is really nothing new... F1 Challenge did dry lines 7 years ago and it doesn't keep a game standing on it's own. It's a shambles, especially when unpaid unofficial modding groups can do so much with a template game like rFactor :/

RFActor era is over...Codemasters took the genre to another level...i used to be a hardcore fun of rfactor but it dissapointed me in the end...

ok they are not photorealistic but they do the job.

I'd rather play a geme with semi decent graphics and AWESOME realism (like r Factor) than a glossy bells and whistles eye candy arcade console racer that feels like you're controlling a bar of soap

I've been playing a lot of GT-5 the past few weeks and having a great time, although it looks stunning and is a brilliant game. it's not quite up to r-factor levels of realism. it's getting there tho. I also hugely enjoyed Forza3 on the 360,(mostly drifting in that tho) in the end it's all about if you enjoy playing the game not how pretty it looks.

In the link and title its 2009, You are using the 2010 mod ??? Oh and I got this mod a while back and I always ended up with like 4 feraris and more than 2 of other cars when racing. Like it was including the test drivers and stuff. another question too please, How do you get the mod as a whole where you have all the tracks too ? Ive always prefered F1 Mania than Rfactor coz theres too much hassle involved having to download all the seperate tracks and stuff.

@ukogmickey it is the wcp 2009 mod but it includes 2010 skins so actually im driving here jenson button brawn gp with mercedes gp 2010 skin, you have to download every single track and put it in the game, sometime there are trackpacks which includes more tracks but normally you have to download the track by it self, but the mod includes every car and driver of the season

@8kuh Thats the mod I had before, Thats what I mean I just leave it then. Thats why I dont like rfactor too much coz a mod should be the full season mod of whatever series, Like tracks included and have the choice to race that season if you understand. Like with F1 mania mod is the complete 2010 season, No need for all the hassle. Plus in my opinion feels better than Rfactor with the right settings. Dont get me wrong I like rfactor physics too. I like the camera shake etc etc. Thanks man.
