hi scott. tell you a secret that you might already know. most of my ideas for songs usually come while driving a car for some reason. (you also???). many times i try to come up with the last sentence of a song, or of the chorus. once i have the last sentence, it seems like the other words more or less just flow in that direction. have you ever heard of "cluster" writing technique? i don't use it but i know a few who do. once i got idea from being stopped at three billboards. peace, cp

Hey, Chuck! No, I don't know any official writing techniques... driving in my car is something I can do pretty well... but the lyrics... they mostly continue to elude me. The ones I work the hardest at are the least satisfying in the end... I like 'em to just fall out of trees!

hi curtis. this song might conclude the total of 20 songs posted from the album titled "greetings from joetown, west virginia". still have maybe one or two from the previous album "don't push". after that probably start posting songs from the christmas novelty album "dead ninja christmas". i will miss hearing processed sound from the studio in future live postings. might need to invest in a mixing system similar to your own. your recent postings sound really good, chuck.

good morning beachstoun. so nice to hear from you both. hope you are doing fine. when i was in the air force i had a great nervous break down. after months of treatment with the base shrink, he told me that for the rest of my life, every morning and every time someone asks how are you, i am to reply "every day in every way, i get better and better". it's amazing what a little bit of positive attitude can do. enjoy the trip, chuck.
