i got the chrome os but i couldn't log in with my google account so i use chronos for my ID and i cant get any connection in the os Iam using VMwear Workstation for windows vista 32 bit do you think you can help me get connected in the virtual machine thanks in adv
there's no such thing as looking like linux. Linux is a kernel. It could look like gnome, or it could look like kde, or it could look like xfce, but not linux.
imagine in the future, the internet connection is going to be so fast you can play games like crysis without installing it because we can play it from the browser. that would be cool. :P
On the + side: sure, the browser is (at least) 80% of what we use on a computer. Sure, having only the browser and all that Google stuff in lieu of applications sounds awesome, would render upgrades pointless (almost), etc...
On the - side: pure textbook theory says you can't be THAT specialized and successful...or at least profitable (unless there's some dirty trick: ads integrated in the OS?)
The idea's great and revolutionary...but maybe too much IMHO...
yeah, I know the OS is free and pseudo-open source all that good stuff...but guess what? it's Google, not Greenpeace, there's gotta be cash involved somewhere...
I have the same exact problem. 24 hours straight between downloading Ubuntu, trouble shooting dependencies, and dealing with broken script files and the easiest part so far was downloading and installing ubuntu (I prefer Fedora :p)
how do you get 11,175 unread emails? how many do you get a day? are you like a ceo or something?

You will need all the graphics files on your computer, so there still would have to be some files to download and install.

@thisismirul
this would actually work if bandwith develops faster than games.
thats the problem, youll get crysis working but that may be the time when
crysis 3 is out and demands 10 times the bandwith.
