Xiaichi: Me personally, i am only a 1st dan in freestyle karate, but i also train with a small group of people doing kickboxing and reality based techniques (grapple, clinch, holds, etc). I would say my standard is about the normal for someone that's trained 10yrs. Though i am not a competitor, i have bees tested several times as a doorman (please dont see me as boasting).
