The venus only has good reviews b/c they review it out of the box. at first when i got mine it was awesome. Then the battery life got shorter and shorter, the chrone peeled off, and after a whoppinf 5 months i went to slide it up and it broke in 2. Its too fimsy, not well made

I've had the Venus for a couple months now. It's a good phone. Great call quality, and the pictures are pretty excellent (compared to the two-year-old phone I had replaced). The touch screen takes awhile to get used to. Don't stab the touchscreen, but make sure you apply a firm touch. I just have a couple issues, 1) The camera isn't all that great. Audio and video can easily get out-of-sync. 2) How do you get videos off of the phone without sending to pix-place?

the samsung soul u900 is better but if u dont have a SIM card then you miss out. Verizon is horrible compared to ATT, O2, Orange, Vodafone, or T-Mobile. Verizon is in the past using CDMA which by the way is garbage. Honestly the 3G networks that the Samsung uses has dl speeds of 7.2 mbps thats fast. with a 5mpx camera w/flash, face recognition, editor tools, and WDR and more.

So my question to you is why use Verizon?

The phone has the normal, negative, aqua, spia, and the black and white opions. I have not tried to edit photos with it. But i do not think it does. Its a pretty amazing phone though. I just had the samsung u-740 )double flip phone) so its weird texting on it at first if you come from a full keyboard.

To contradict dialntone's comment, I should say that one thing that the Venus has is vibration feedback. For someone with low vision that really comes in handy so that i definitely know I tapped something on the screen.
