  • Cardiff Arms Park 1987, I danced with the girl in front of me for the entire 6:56, we never spoke to each other. What memories!

David Bowie IS the coolest man on the planet.

  • uma das melhores dele criativa, encatadora insuperavel essa é a balada dos anos 80...

  • Bowie is a rock icon. This song is enchanting & one of my favourites. I remember going to this concert. I too have been a fan for 40 yrs. David & his music never gets old. I can't imagine the music industry without him. luv you David.

  • pure art, absolute bowie

  • B_O_W_I_E !!!

  • This is a really beautifal song.

  • First up on my iPod when gym-bound, and most likely why I sometimes have to wipe tears from my eyes upon entering the Barton gym. I keep listening to my recent favourites, forgoing the gym's live DJs....

  • You've absolutely made my day uploading, forgot how much I loved that paticular song & performance :) Cheers for the upload mate :D favourited :)

  • This is just perfect!!!

  • He - and his band - perform with such poise, fusing his distinct depth with late '80s pop. I remember a videotape of this concert and Serious Moonlight being my only musical entertainment when I started college in 1993 amid others playing their wallowing 90s' alternative/grunge or Billy Joel.

  • Absolute beginners, absolutely brilliant!

  • David's voice, music and magnetic charisma transports me to a better place when I'm down. There is so much genuine love within his music, and so much talent within the man, that is is difficult to imagine the world without him in it. I have been a fan for 40 years now and always will be! Thankfully we will always have his music, what a beautiful gift !

  • @DinoLucca1

My dear, this comment flows really limpid directly from your heart in mine, bringing me the gift of a very sweet smile. I am happy to contribute to these moments of tenderness for anyone who appreciates the great music of Bowie, his Art, so much alive as to do the effect that makes in you (and also in me).

My deepest thanks to you. And to our David, of course.

  • @theMusicofmyLife1 I really appreciate your comment, and I am so glad that you see David Bowie for what he really is, a very rare and under-rated talent. Thank you !

  • Gràcies David Bowie ! ! Marc Sabatés //*//

  • if only he would do a tour like that again

  • if only he would do a tour like that again

  • THAT AMAZING DANCE/MOVEMENT SEQUENCE THING AT THE END LOOKS IMPOSSIBLE

  • That song is beautiful! People say that the Glass spider tour was his worst tour. Well, I wouldn't have needed all the dancers and the glittery stuff, but I still like that song and some other performances of that tour!

  • @GoldenYears77

Obviously. Although Bowie seems born under the spotlight, this was a transient experience, that actually he no longer has wanted to do.

His charisma, I think, is more powerful when alone dominates the scene, because comes from "other unfrequented roads"...

    Thanks for your shareable comment.

  • i've always loved this song...it just makes me fly away :)

  • @guitarina1

Someone called David Bowie an "Actor singer" (although I think it is hard to define DB): he has given always not only a peculiar face to every interpretive performance, but from time to time a personal climate very accurate, that seems an entire theatre where as much persons as much his songs there live. And, for me, this is the fullness of communication, by an authentic joy of expressing oneself.

    Art of Vision...

Thank you, darling, even I love so much this enthralling song.

  • my friend have you describe oe of the greatest stage performers of all time!

  • @dntmetal

For all that I can know, no one has yet been able to overcome Bowie in his whole Artistic complexity of Rock.

    None.

Thanks so much for your comments.

  • This one is beautifully sung!

I would have preferred that tour without the Spider, the stage props and the dancers. Bowie's music and voice are more than enough.....

  • @redsails2008

True also for me, but I intended to witness the Bowie-progress: the song is very delicious, his voice among the most beautiful, his style will be always inimitable ...

Also David had noticed that it was unnecessary to present himself in an outline so complex.

But he left an absolutely new trace in the history of the Musical.

Thanks again for your intelligent essentiality, which I love.

  • Such a beautiful and bright performance of such a lovely and romantic song, a smile that just lights up the room. As always, a truly creative piece of magic, originality, grace and elegance. Thank you my dear Fiorella, you've put a smile on my face and some happiness in my life.

  • @Scoobydoonut

I agree, grace, a natural grace styled for a very sweet song. Innate grace (his dance moves among two dancers, for example: unmistakable class !); and tenderness, although the whole was a great study for Bowie, who has always been a perfectionist in every detail.

Thanks, dear Carol, for your lovely attention, faultless.
