I love the undertones of Dear You in most of the Kai BGM... It always ends up tracing back to the overall theme of trust and friendship in the series. Ni's sense of suspense and mystery was great and all, but Kai really gave Higurashi new meaning to me. That's what made it my all-time favorite.
@LetsRideRulz It's played a lot near the end of Meakashi-hen (when Shion is in the basement with Satoko, when she talks to Rena and Keiichi etc). At least in Mangagamers english version.
Watched aime twice- got all european releaswe books (read in spare time) and replaying games for third time ^-^ a little too obsessed i agree- but could it be on a more awesome subject? :3 <3
Thing is, it's very hard to break out of a cycle of violence like that. It's something Ryukishi mentioned again in Umineko. So Shion should have just forgiven, which is what Higurashi is all about.
