Rock Band has an effects switch. That makes it better than Guitar Hero. Plus Rock Band has percussion notes and the guitars are realistic. The drums are easier to follow and won't break your hands off.

I love to drum, so I only go for how good the drums are. Rock Band 2's drum set has 4 pads, and Guitar Hero World Tour's have 3 pads, and 2 fake cymbals. In Rock Band 2, the drum set is easier to use, especially for starters. In Guitar Hero World Tour, the drum set is more challenging and are good for people who are really good with the drums already. I don't know which to pick! :(

I had them in 3 weeks and then they broke. It's a piece of sh*t. waste of my money. That's why I prefer Rock Band 2 witht the graphics and stuff. However I like to play RB with a GH guitar. But the song list is better on RB+ dlc's. So i'll go with ROCK BAND 2!

Guys, trust me on this, the guitar hero 4 guitar is a bit cheap. the red button clogs if you press it a certain way. this is the same with my frriends guitar, so it's not just mine. Also the strum bar makes a little squeek. The drums might be better though. i don't know because i don't have rock band drums

Guitar hero is better in both gameplay and peripherals, but Rock Band totally OWNS in realism and set-list when it comes to game play. What's like, 500k in Guitar Hero for a solo instrument is like, 250k in Rock Band, even on the same song.

I like using GH instruments with Rock Band personally. I just wish Rock Band had Expert+ and an open bass note.
