seeing this in person two feet from the stage was incredible. she was amazing and her dancers were all very talented! sometimes it's hard to appreciate a performer viewing from a far. up close and in person you can see how hard they are working and know they are singing live. With or without the back up tracks, it didn't matter she was really great! with very few singers who get out there and dance anymore, you got give her credit, it's not easy trying to sing and dance at the same time.

Yeah I think she had a mixed of actual singing and lip syncing. You can hear her breathe (that's always what I look for) and then after she sings "shadows dancing on the wall" the first time she motions for someone to turn something up(her mic?). It actually looks like part of the choreography, better seen on GMA one. Either way on that day it didn't matter I was watching Janet Jackson live!
