Twice, a while back, I fought De Rol Le on Hard for the lulz, and then he did his rock attack on me and killed me, even when I was at full health. His fights are always intense and ur palms sweat alot when u see ur running low on mates and fluids.

mwuahaha. first time i played this guy, me and my friends got owned... badly.

After that, I went back alone with a hucaseal at lvl 15, and owned it with a slicer... After that, I learned to always take a slicer type weapon to fight him if I'm using a hunter. That, or come with a shot on a ranger. That, or overpower my lvl 12 FOnewmarl with a lvl 120 MAG that has almost all Mind with some defense, give her lvl 7 Rafoie, and a lot of monofluid and difluid... and then own it.

I did all the way up to hard mode with her before i realised that all of Falz's attacks were either fixed damage or magic, so i had no advantages, i think i was around the mid lvl 40's when i did Falz on hard >.< that probably means im rubbish

nah man that's pretty good. did that about the same, think I was about level 45. my old dreamcast char is like level 80 now but I still have pretty useless gear.

thing is they are pretty much uber when you get to level 200...

but yeah I know what you mean, third-form Falz has grants which is like, instarape. you can only hold so many dimates, you know?

HUmars and FOs that spam resta know nothing of our pain on hard/ult mode.

got some saint/resists for that fight alone...

I love how PSO fuses an RPG with a little action such as dodging.

In fact to win boss fights you HAVE to learn their attack patterns, else you won't defeat em (since that ,when they hit, they deal some really CRAZY damage).Like him :D he is unbeatable the first time you face it but then you get used to him....tho i still remember i could never ever dodge his "energy ballz" things when he dives, i mean everytime:

Seriously, once you play it and get addicted there's no turning back. Me and my friend play it religiously. You end up playing it so much you start to remember where the enemies spawn and which way to the teleporter even though the level has different randomization's, it becomes part of your life. xD

Especially once you breach the 100 level mark after like 1000 hours gameplay xD

I played it for 2 weeks, got to level 20 (Highest You can get on the demo), the city is spammed with people selling Meseta and porn, ranger and force gameplay sucks (Why the hell did they add Ammo? Having to Carry around 3 guns to get through a level blows and the spells you cast depend on your wand lol.) PSO is 1000x better than PSU.

Agreed. I was like Kewl its like a Tv show....then the whole love story between the main guy and that girl started getting old... he was such an idiot, did not like his character at all. And I now they wanted it to give laughs now and then but Phantasy Star has always had a serious feel to it. Adding the comedy kinda killed the atmosphere. And the fact that you knew who the last boss was from near the begining killed the inner fear factor that Phantasy Star is well known for.
