Ok, I'm not overanalyzing, but if you break it down to the essentials, that's very good! I'm not being sarcastic, and I'm not talking about the singing.
I"m talking about the fact that your son remembers the acceleration from pa pa PA PA to PAPPAPAPAPAPAPA. Very cute kid.
Thanks. Actually I think the sense of rhythm might develop before the sense of pitch. I only have my own experience to go by of course, but he used to chant a tuneless "da da da" to the rhythm of different songs, like "Mary Had a Little Lamb" and "Row Row Row Your Boat," before he ever sang on pitch. But now you've got me curious so I'll ask his music teacher tomorrow! :)
Hello Lundriel, I hope you becobe a famous opera Singer.
I wanted to be an opera singer as well but I have to decide between my dream and a more profitable career, since I live in Mexico, a country that does not give chances to artist like you. Best regards
Opera singer???
Wow I didn't even know they were still around...most kids these days all listen to rock or country but opera.

What's not to understand?
This is when he was 2 1/2. Now he's 5 and he wants to be a baseball player, an astronaut and "the person who climbs telephone poles."

LOL I think he had a (rare) moment of shyness! This is from about 2 years ago. Look at the video, "Alex Imitates Papageno" to hear more. :)
