Wow he's gorgeous! Such a stunning yearling! Clever too! :D Expect great things from him! Please keep posting videos on him! Would love to see how he does actually jumping with those legs and that spirit and determination! :D
if he can jump that at that age, when he's not even fully grown, imagine what he can do when he's fully grown, broken in!! i think we have a new showjumper..well, hopefully!!
My horse when she was 5 months old jumped a four foot fence. She was at a boarding facility because we didn't know where to keep her when her mother had her.
wow when my horse was one she jumpet out of a stall that was 4 foot now on her back i can get her to jump 5 ft i think she could do 6ft but no with me on her
he is stunnig andwould make a really good eventer!! he dosnt seem to be fazed by much X) but, as with all young animals it isnt a good idea for him to be jumping too much under the age of 4. the once is ok but too much can damage his bones and joints :)
hahaha looked like when u were showing him a little baby he was already looking at that fence thinking "i"m a jump that some day". LOL that horse is gonna be amazing jumper :)
@rockandroll345 "weaned" mean getting remove of his mother or something. all young horses gets weaned from their mums onces they're big enough and old enough but look it up
He's GORGEOUS!! I agree with the person who suggested this boy have a career in eventing. He's got natural dressage talent, and obvious jumping talent. You will go far with this horse as an eventer, IF he's got the speed!
My little arab yearling thinks she's a hano or oldenburg >_> she just recently jumped the 3 1/2 to 4 foot high fence and into my neighbors padock, she nearly cleared it but her hind hoof tapped the metal part of the fence. Pretty sure she's make a nice hunter/jumper and endurance horse when she is older.
@Flyingfudgemuffins Don't waste that kind of talent making her a hunter/jumper, do eventing or just regular show jumping. You and your horse will appreciate it much more.
@RachieRawrr This horse is going to be too big and warmbloody to be a top eventer... not to mention there is zero money in eventing. H/J is where the cash is if they decide to sell him later on down the road - and that's where he'll win the money too. And I am an eventer! He has too much talent as an h/j horse to be an eventer! Sure is fancy though... nice colt.
@ZapsDrater thats what I was thinking. the first time my grandparents boarded a horse for someone. the horse jumped the fence in to the neighbors cow pasture and got tangled up on some barb wire. (the owner said the horse never jumped fences. he lied)
@CheeseCakeExtreme Yea thats really nothing to brag about, there are a lot of young horses who can naturally jump high heights. My friends horse can jump 5 ft from a stand still. And i agree with ZapsDrater your horse shouldn't be anywhere near barbed wire.
Oh look its Black Beuaty <3
