  • coolness

  • you should buy a MAC10. 45 caliber goodness at one of the highest ROF on the market!!!

  • Had some work on the fire rate yet?

  • The Isreali's make good stuff...

  • do a dual cal.uzi video 9mm/.45acp

  • Wild 2 litre appeared! Hickok used Uzi, it's super effective!

  • What's your opinion on the CIA UC-9?

  • Man, I love Uzi's

  • er det julebrus? (NOR)

  • Now that looks like a lot of fun. Way cool Vid!!!

  • nice piece of equipment,,, :D

I want one! How much do those sell for? and what type of ammo do they use..

  • hickok you're so goofy it is rediculous

  • One of the first IDF units to field test the Uzi was Unit 101, the forerunner of Israel's Special forces put together to deal with murderous Fedayeen raids on their civilians. It was a worthy upgrade to the concept SMG laid down by the Czech SA 25 series.

I dream someday that I can legally do the same thing shown here on my property with an Uzi or MP40 (Full or semi, doesn't matter)...

  • How much land you on out there?

  • he has steady aim pro

  • CoD FTW!

  • Ur the best old man ever! Im 11 and when i grow up i wanna be like u!

  • @762gunr thanks for the answer was interested in that!

  • i have a imi uzi and i never noticed the bolt staying back after first fire each time is that just on full auto verison or am i just not noticing ill look when i go shoot next time if you dont get to answer but im pretty interested in knowing thanks if ya can hickok!

  • @ottokis308

A full auto UZI is open bolt with a permanent firing pin.Your semi is closed bolt with a regular floating firing pin.

A FA uzi is a raw slam fire weapon.

  • Don't think your just going to walk through his woods!

  • Are you having fun yet.....?

  • Ill be heading to Tennessee in the spring on a road trip. I was hoping to place a little pin on the map as a stop in your neck of the woods. I would love to make a contribution to your ammo/video/target fund for a chance to spend some time shooting with a proven gun "Great" such as yourself Mr. Hickok.

  • The Uzi is nice, But personally I'd take the Mp-40 any day! Classic German ingenuity at its finest!

  • Is it automatic or just semi-auto fast fireing??

  • @Weezing77 automatic

  • @ChromeGhost0219 But isn't it illegal in the U.S. to own an automatic gun?

  • @Weezing77 Nope. There are pre-ban MGs that just about anyone can purchase, though it depends on your state. Costs a NFA tax stamp and a whole lot of waiting for the transfer.

  • @Weezing77 Are you retarded or semi-retarded?

  • I'd like to walk there^^

  • Do you have any placards around the forest saying "HICKOK'S LAIR" ?

  • 4:15 ---> For some hickok45 Cheek flapping action...get some.

  • You are the grandfather I always dreamed :) Excellent video!

  • Hey have you ever been offered work from the military to be a marksman or a teacher?

  • how r u filming this

  • @delljack2 in first person

  • @delljack2 in first person

3:36 for a happy hickok lol

  • @delljack2 Are you having a conversation with yourself..? lol

  • @davesauerkraut dude what the HELL are you smoking?

  • @DaveSauerkraut What is that suppose to mean?

  • Theres nothing like taking your Uzi for a walk in the woods

  • its people like him who will defend the country when the russians/chinesee invade

  • When I saw the title of this video, even before I watch it I thought "Good Lord, Hickok is at it again!!!" LoL

  • hickok45 ive been a long time subscriber of your videos and you always have the coolest guns. but for once id like to see a video of you and your wife out killing some zombies or pumpkins.

  • Hickock... I know you had one of these a way back, but I think that you need one back in the Hickock battery full time. You are pretty good with one of these, as well as everything else in your collection and it has got to be way too much fun to hand back in a month or so.

  • perfect example of a open bolt function action. great training vid

  • The slow motion shots of that gun in the first person perspective is freaking beast

  • ★★★★★

    You're making me jealous! :)

  • Great vid Hickok45, very much enjoyed.

  • LEAVESSSSS NOISES!!!!

  • as usual nothing but bunch of cry babies bumping gums about who's right or wrong about accuracy and reliability. just enjoy the fucking video. this is not a field test its a fun test....

  • There is something oddly frail looking about that open bolt. Carrying it in the field I'd be worried about getting dirt in there. I think I'd be less inclined to roll around on the forest floor hiding in the leaves and mud.

  • I like the mini uzis' faster rate of fire better, although, with a few mods like a lighter bolt, the standard uzis' ROF can be picked up quite a bit.

  • I need to move to his state,

california has unreasonable gun laws : /

  • Definitely inaccurate in Fun mode, but a sweet piece of hardware indeed.

  • I got to see AK-47 in the woods☺☺

  • Yeah, eradicate all that unhealthy soda :-) There is nothing like a nice warm Uzi

  • Cream Soda is always my favorite target or err flavor!

  • These open bolt guns are always a strange sight.

  • NOOOO 0:57 i wanted to drink it

  • FPS Hickok

  • im 21 and i hope im half the badass you are when i reach your age HICKOK45 is a total BADASS!

  • I wonder who had to pick up the case's and clean up the 1 litres lol

  • what are the minimum computer specs required to support these graphics? ;)

  • Can somebody please tell me how Israel used this gun in the sands of the middle east with that bolt wide open? Surely that can't be too reliable...

  • @HolinessWarrior so, the model, makes it not care about sand insiude.

  • @HolinessWarrior Well the Brits, Germans, Italians, French, and Americans used open bolt SMGs to great effect in the sands of N. Africa during WW2.

Dirt doesn't really have anything to jam in an open bolt SMG. Most have fixed firing pins machined onto the face of the bolt, so any dirt is going to be working against the mass of the entire bolt slamming forwards. The weak point in most open bolt SMGs is the magazines, otherwise they are probably the most reliable autoloading designs around.

  • @vnlk65n That was basically my point though, you can clearly see the rounds in the magazine. I mean I guess it worked fine huh? Lol just surprised me is all. Looks like a lot of junk could get in there and cause a problem.

  • @HolinessWarrior

actually, its very reliable, I think when they weren't shooting they kept the bolt closed though, and it has loose enough tolerences that it would take a lot of sand to make it jam.

  • @HolinessWarrior Sand falls out the same way it falls in. Also the sides of the bolt are recessed so only the edges contact the receiver and the corners are chamfered.

  • @HolinessWarrior

I don't know either, but it seemed to work. Can't argue with results.

  • @HolinessWarrior

They did experience some problems with that during some skirmishes, really, they just had to clean it more often.

  • @HolinessWarrior

Hey, to add to the discussion: "When the gun is de-cocked, the ejector port closes, preventing entry of dust and dirt. Though the Uzi's stamped-metal receiver is equipped with pressed reinforcement slots to accept accumulated dirt and sand, the weapon can still jam with heavy accumulations of sand in desert combat conditions when not cleaned regularly"

Also, Israel isn't the Sahara desert. Wars were fought in some sandy areas, but it's not like sand storms were flying around

  • @HolinessWarrior they actually barely issued it to troops for that reason, most where issued with the lee-enfield initial, then the fn-fal later on. Both where not so reliable either, not even the AK family can remain completly working in such an enviroment, but the UZI was generally issued to people who either didn;t have a whole lost of use for a full rifle, or specialty forces

  • @HolinessWarrior there's a closed-bolt version and an open-bolt version

  • @HolinessWarrior Loose tolerances. Kinda like how the AK is able to work in all that sand. Also, not all of the Middle East looks like a sandbox.

  • @HolinessWarrior loose tolerences :)

  • @HolinessWarrior god isn't real, that's how

  • @BrendanIsCool amen,brother

  • @HolinessWarrior Looser tolerances between parts have historically been used in firearms design to provide increased reliability when dust and sand are an issue, in fact loose tolerances between parts are 80% of the magic behind the fabled reliability of the AK series. With an SMG 'bullet-hose' such as the Uzi, tight tolerances for the ultimate in mechanical accuracy aren't really required.

  • @HolinessWarrior its a robust design with loose tolerances...maybe not as reliable as an AK but its certainly not as finicky as an M-16 / M-4

  • @HolinessWarrior Well the Uzi is rather overrated in the Six Day War. Most of the real fighting was with FN FAL's in .308/7.62x51 NATO.

  • @HolinessWarrior - the IMU Uzi is like the AK of subguns, the tolerances aren't too tight, most of the parts are very simple, and it has proved reliable under most conditions. The cause for malfunctions in mine were weak ammo, the bolt is HUGE and HEAVY so the ammo has to be pretty hotloaded to be reliable.

  • @HolinessWarrior

Here is how they did it:

they made the gun extremely reliable

    thats about it

  • @HolinessWarrior this isnt based on any research or facts i know, im just assuming, but im pretty sure they would leave the bolt closed and the weapon uncocked while carrying it.

  • Like

  • I think i would have to be a reloader to own one of those. That thing shoots 9MM doesn't it?did they make a larger caliber one.

  • damn right life is good !

  • Another great video, keep them coming.

  • Those ought to be mandatory for walking in the woods!

  • i want one.

  • That looks like a lot of fun! Wouldn't even dream of owning one of those here in New Zealand!

  • aren't machine guns fun for the shooting range? We need to tell our representatives at Gun owners of america the NRA and our state representatives that we want our right to own a machine gun back because the machine for sale to regular folk cost roughly $7000 which is too much .

  • i dont think hickok is ever going to give the Uzi back to its owner...

  • To me, this looks more like an atypical troll-hunt through the hoods. But still enjoyable.

  • how much the uzi cost?

  • LOL, great vid as always! Who needs to aim when you have an Uzi!! Keep up the great work!!

  • does this uzi load the round as it fires looks interesting ?

  • @watchforfinger yea dude i don want to be a know it all but its called an open bolt design it keep the gun cooler but just look it up for details

  • Hoe about a vid showing, explaining how that open bolt works.

  • @havoc6g He has one of those. Pay attention.

  • How did you film that? Helmet cam?

  • @deepbsd his camera man is just that good.

  • Hickok clearing the grounds. The compound is clearly safe

  • @vinnybob412 from cavities !

  • SWEET

  • Hickok should be made the gun shop owner in Grand Theft Auto 5.

  • This is why I can't watch basketball games....all I hear is their DAMN SHOES SQUEAKING!!!

    That being said, Hickok.....LEAVES!!!

  • I was wondering why you were having a little trouble hitting your targets, then I saw you were shooting from the hip!

  • thanks for another great video

  • There is nothing like a Uzi.

  • you can run but you can't hide from the Hickok45 :)

  • You sounds like Johnny Winter when u say yeah:)

  • LOL "feeding the ants sugar water."

  • TO BAD THEY DID NOT OFFER THE UZI IN 45 ACP

  • @lordenormas They did.

  • @MrNorwegian2010 thanx for the info

  • @lordenormas They do make the Uzi in .45 ACP.

  • @stuntmanmike37 thanx for the info

  • Pills here!

  • Not a very accurate little gun but it looks fun! :)

  • @mostlymichaelcanada, I've always found the Uzi to be very accurate, actually.

  • @hickok45 A benefit of firing from an open bolt :)

  • @hickok45 I want to know, and i think other people might want to also but. What was one of the craziest events that happened while you where in the police force?

  • @hickok45 thts not a uzi..its a chinese knockoff..u better find a real one..n stop cheating people around

  • @arsenalspytube In the first UZI Clip you can see the original UZI Markings. Its not a chinese copy

  • @arsenalspytube butthurt

  • @arsenalspytube

Actually, he showed us the Israeli markings in a previous video.

  • @mostlymichaelcanada It looks to me that he was firing from the hip.

  • @mostlymichaelcanada Wait!!! Your joking right?? The Uzi is a super accurate firearm the one he's shooting is a sub machine gun with a short barrel and the standard civilian version has like a 18 inch barrel i've shot both and aimed shot are very accurate! Most machine guns are like spray and pray designed for lots of lead down range!!

  • @mostlymichaelcanada that what we like to call shootin from the hip

  • @mostlymichaelcanada He's firing from the hip

  • 8 dislikes? Must be either liberal gun-haters or anti-Semites who just hate anything Israeli. I don't see how anyone could dislike this, even if it's not their favorite type of gun. I like the Uzi for the same traits I like the AK: super simple design that just keeps working

    Rock On Hickok45!!

  • I think next year when voting for president, I'm going to put in "Hickok45" as a write-in. Gunner should be Chief of Staff. That Golden prob has more brains than any politician in DC anyway. Hickok45 for PREZ! :-D

  • @flanmedic51

That is a fantastic idea. I'll second that.

  • @MosinDragunov1891

    Game of the Year

  • hearing that bolt snap shut in slow mo is awesome!

  • UZI or MAC?

  • @weiss27md Uzi. :P

  • @weiss27md that's and Uzi. if you havn't watched any of his videos, you'll find out he knows what gun it is when he names it. the Mac series arn't Uzi's

  • I have a IMI Micro pistol in 9mm semi. One of the most impractical yet amazingly fun guns I own. Sadly, the laws in Kalifornia will not let me pass this on when I die so I will be selling it soon and it must leave the state. It will be a sad parting I'm sure. Maybe a new 1911 would help? Love your vids. Peace

  • looks like fun, but this video just made me dizzy...

  • which weapon bit your paw?

  • Living in a free state. Priceless...!

  • hickok45 has all the fun.I wish Iowa allowed NFA weapons

  • This video actually shows how semi auto is really a more practical choice than full auto. But full auto is more fun.

  • uzi inna woods

  • love this video! new look of your guns ....

  • Good camera work!

  • Hickock, you should make a video compilation of all your chuckles. They're priceless!

  • waaaahhoooooooooooooooooooo

  • Shooting soda with an Uzi...brings new meaning to the phrase "spray and pray"

  • oh man this is my type of exercise

low impact bush walking good for me hip :P

    love ur work hickok45.

  • A buddy of mine in McMinnville had a f/a Vector UZI for awhile, and it was a lot of fun! He had both the folding and wood stock, and the wood piece made the Uzi very comfortable to shoot. He bought it right before Vector ran out of transferable models, and then made a lot of money a year or two later when he sold it.

    I want a Karl Gustav M/45...

  • No youtube battles please.

  • You lucky hound !! I would love to have an UZI to play with to . A UZI SBR semi auto would be fun to.

  • @Guitarman1275 What does it being automatic have to do with anything?

  • And it's Miller Time!
