@cindyshealed You mean 'The Trip' ~ that CD has a purple back cover and contains this track. It is great compilation album which it says "emphasises Donovan's pyschedelic leanings", although I think of it as ethereal folk of the highest order.

@cindyshealed Thanks. I seem to own a non existent Donovan album according to Wikipedia. "The Trip ~ (EMI CDP7958322)" named after the song, was released in 1991. It's an album I play alot. Looks like I will have to go in and update Wiki.

A rare artifact indeed---the orchestral arranger got a little big for his britches but it's an interesting version nevertheless

This is a far superior than another song about Guinevere having green eyes...that was recorded by a group at that time. I think the group was Crosby, Stills and Croft...
