Hey when you play fast that RLRL KKRK (R)LRL KKRL. Do you repeat it twice in a row?? Cause after you hit the snare at the end with the RL I don't hear nor see you hit the beginning RLRL again. For example: You start RLRL KKRK (R)LRL KKRL but then you do something else before you repeat it again. It doesn't sound like the same one in a row: RLRL KKRK (R)LRL KKRL RLRL KKRK (R)LRL KKRL. It sounds like something else. ( I might be mistaken). Please let me know if you do repeat the same twice or not.

he plays the lick in a triplet feel (sixtuplet in this case). playing an 8th note groove with shuffled 16ths, he starts the lick on "4and" (with "RLRL KKRK RLRL KKRL") and then adds the last 12 of these 16 notes ("KKRK RLRL KKRL"), which makes a one-bar-fill landing with a hit on the snare on the "1" of the next bar.

BRO please pleaseeeeeeeee give a lesson on how to do double kicks. how to adjust the kick, how much bounce the kick should have, what position should we have our foot, how we should sit, how high the seat should be ect. lol. im struggling with the kick. dont know how to do double so cant do that crazy roll you doing there!! helppppppppp lol.

We have all been there.. I believe there's a couple of videos here on youtube that try to explain it but it really is a question of keep playing and it will come to you. Patience is your friend. Believe me.

The spring tension on your kick pedal is a personal thing you should play around with.

thanks for the reply. i realize what you were saying with the it will come to you thing. thats how my first attempted roll happen. i couldnt go fast till one day it just came to be as i was just banging on the drums acting silly. do you know at what angle my leg should be to be able to consistently do doubles? so i know what height i need the chair to be. im definately subscribing!
