  • What kind/size of rods/reels/line do you have to use to pull in one of those bruisers?

  • what rod/reel and line size are you using? braid or mono?

  • damn.. some of the biggest stripers i've seen in freshwater! great catches!

  • The next world record striper WILL come out of the cumberland river system. I grew up in Gallatin Tn and know that water all the way up past shady cove to the 231 bridge.....we been catching pigs like those for years, a 14 inch skip jack will do the trick every time. Love to see yall putting it up for people to see.......beautiful fish. Awesome you release them as well. No other fresh water fish compares with the strength of a big striper.

  • Getting in a boat with that Paduch boy might be dangerous. I think he ski by and catch them without being IN the boat.

  • incredible

  • where is this at???

  • Those are definetly TN stripers... They are chompin right now behind Loudon!

  • Im lickin my chops... absoletly SICK!!!

  • Imagine if one of those crapped in the boat... man you would have a big mess to clean up lol.

  • how may pounds was it

  • OMFG that guy at 4:15 is huge

  • im pretty sure there on the cumberland river

  • where were u fishing

  • mostly in Tennessee but some in Georgia and Alabama.

  • what are you guys using to catch these beauty. WOW amazing.

  • Live trout and shad - big ones - 2lb range

  • Are you a guide?

  • No, I don't do any guiding. Too much pressure for me - fish to relax.

  • Those are nice fish I caught one

  • where the hell is this?? i've caught a 35 pounder before but that looks so intense..i need to go there

  • i usually fish for stripe in the spring time using top water redfins but i have never caught any fish like that my biggest is bout 24lb good job guys!

  • Im in Oklahoma Those are "Supa Whoppers!"

  • Those are "Supa Whoppers" anywhere!

  • wow how long you guys fight this behemoths. I've never caught anything bigger than 10lbs. Wow amazing catches

  • Normally takes about 5 minutes or less to land one on the proper tackle.

  • They swim with the big blue fish underneath them. I also catch like 15 lb blue fish and thats pretty big for blues.

  • I use only bunker heads. It seems to work the best. I mean live bunker work aswell but I prefer using the head.

  • Sorry for the double post... I doubt there are any bigger stripers then 25 lbs. I catch them in a bay next to a big bridge at night only. No one really knows about that spot except a few friends. I released about 30 stripers this season already all over 10 lbs most of them are 15 - 18 lb range.

  • I'm glad to see you guys release them... The biggest striper I caught was 23.9 lber ... I let almost all the stripers I caught go. I'd like to catch a 40 lber or 50:)

  • There won't be any 40 - 50lbers if they all meet the fillet knife when they are smaller. Do the areas you are fishing have the potential for bigger fish?

  • That's nice you see that you guys let them go. I do the same when I catch them but I don't get them that big .... I'd love to catch a 40 50 lber I caught a 23.9 lber that was the biggest striper I caught.

  • Holy Toledo, Sonnnnnn!

  • Man thats some sick fishing!! To bad we dont have them like that on the priest

  • The Preist is awfully close to some of the best striper fishing in the world!

  • well i hope to be at the soup get together coming up

  • what state is that?????? wish california had shit like that

  • I do most of my fishing in Alabama, Georgia, Tennessee and North Carolina.

  • Tim, I've got to get down there and let you show me how to catch those Monster Stripes!

    LMJ

  • As Bob Barker used to say, "come on Down"

  • OK, do they bite like this all winter, spring?

    LMJ

I'm convinced the time and money is 2ndary!

    ;)

  • Check your e-mail

  • i had a 22lb striper devour my rapala from the shore (i was bank fishing) the hooks were almost completely bent out
