@jimpy419 - I don't think he's anything like Gilbert, besides he was already playing with Jag Panzer in 1984 when Gilbert was only 18. He's his own man.
@JonnyRocket667 The song is called "Violation" from his second solo album "Infra Blue", which was the turning point of his carrier where he switched from neoclassical stylish previous Album "Out of the Sun", (funnily like many did back in time, his mentor Tony Macalpine ahead). Infra Blue is nice album but i admit in fusion i prefer Greg Howe for example or just listening the jazz rock classic & pionneer. Tafolla also released a third album but i only have those 2 one in my closet.
Ok, I've now decided this guy is one of my NEW idols! I will support him now, he just showed us some important and very awesome scales/licks, which no other virtuoso guitarist has done yet that i've seen! I like how he shows the scale/lick several times, first fast, then slow, then moderately fast.
this guy's amazing, and I fucking love him now. never heard of him before, and man am i friggin' glad i found 'im.
it's not even human expression. it's just a lop of bacon on a scale. gross

Now i want to ask something: is this video from an old VHS or was it available on dvd? I'd like to have the dvd if it exists.
