Yes, we should use our talents to glorify God. I have some really good pitching talent but I don't see how it glorifies God. If I would have pursued the major leagues, I would be spending most of my time traveling around being an idol and distracting drunken fans from the true problems in this world. I don't see how that glorifies God or spreads his message. Plus I don't see any major league team hiring anyone that would refuse to play on shabbat and all the other appointed times of YHWH.
