PS if they would only put electric start on the bike. I, like most others, are average riders and 8lbs wouldn't make a bit of difference. Sigh, maybe next year. Still intend to purchase this bike though.

Dude its a race bike its for raceing! you buying one is a perk. the R and D at yamaha didnt have you in mind with build this bike they had racing on there mind, remember raceing sells bike people who want elect start on a race bike dont lol. if you want elec strat buy a trail bike not a moto race bike lol.

I can't believe others think this bike is ugly! I think it's unbelieveably georgeous and depending on what Motocross Action Magazine says pertaining to it's performance (beyond the usual: i.e. change sprocket, exhaust, bar mounts, spring rate) I intend to purchase this. This Video is way awesome by the way. (love the sound effects of Stewart landing with the effect of a fighter jet passing).
