  • Awesom vedeo you guys look like you really enjoy farming and doing that as a family is great everyone looks like a team even grandpa delivering pizza he is probobly the most proud guy in Iowa just kidding in Nebraska keep up the good work and keep the videos coming thanks!

  • Whats the second song called? thanks.

  • I am from Northeast Nebraska and everything is sectioned off in square miles. How did you get a field that is 1036 acres without any roads trying to run through it? P.S. Go Big Rred!!!

  • great video.... im hoping to make one for this harvest here in Minnesota

  • Awesome video. Amazing how enjoying a long day can make it seem like a short one.

  • aprox how many acres do you do? wish we had a 1000 acre feild here in iowa where i am lol best thing ya can get is a section well nice video

  • That is one awesome video! Thanks for posting it!

  • wow 273 on the yield monitor. not bad, haha. wish we had those kind of yields here in so. mn. then again a longer growing season and irriagated ground would help. ha sweet videos. cant wait for more.

  • from just north of sioux falls south dakota would love to come see your operation possibly help?

  • nice video

  • thanks, appreciate the comment

  • ya i know what you mean about being tired!! we do about 750 acres in ontario but thats not really our main farm work. we have around 450000 laying hens, 6000 pigs and around 300 cattle. thats what keeps us busy but i got to say that harvets is the best time of the year by far!!!!

  • BY FAR!

  • might be a dumb question but why the jd head on the case combine? Great vids

  • best of both worlds!

  • @Musicman55ism Yeah, it's more common than you might think.

  • how many acres do u farm in the states? that one 1000+ field is huge too! how long does that take with one combine?

  • this year we did just over 2000 ac. and it takes a good chunk of time... not sure exactly, all the days started running into one another after the first 2 weeks, lol! i couldn't have told you what day of the week it was if i tried, haha.

  • we run a 6 row on deere 9500 and 20ft grain head and a gleaner r 62 i dont know had alot of problems with it

  • so do you guy's get a new combine every year>?

  • every 2 or 3 years.... that 7010 is 2 years old... we just keep trading in every couple years.

  • nice... looks like a late harvest?

  • we were done a week before Thanksgiving :) There is still corn in the fields around here though... no good at all!

  • did Anderson Farms or Olsen Farms get done? i was just wondering whose corn was left on the East side of the road.

  • I think they both did. Not sure.

  • how come you guy's have everything JD but your combine>?

  • simple... Case makes a better combine! (Did I say that out loud??? lol!) Really though, we went w/ the John Deere tractors because of the ILS (hydraulic front suspension). You can drive ACROSS the rows and not feel a thing! Case has something similar, but not quite the engineering it needs... And the combine... we just like Red better! Maybe it's what we're used to, but that's all we've ever run for combines :) Personally, I think they're the best but what do I know, Im just a dumb farmer!

  • If you like that 7010 you will love that 8120...a few guys around me are running them and sounds like they all really liked them. Should match up with a 12r head really nice. And i couldnt agree more with Case have a better combine than deere. We personally run a new holland cr9040 and have had awesome luck with it. case are new holland are the same combine other than the rotor design. Great combines

  • I hope so, hope we can keep the speed up around 4.2 with that 12r head. I think it's gonna match up real nice too. never been in a NH. you'll have to get some pics of what they look like inside! later-

    Rodney

  • i'd like to make a harvest video next year. They are basically the same inside as a case just a few minor differences. and idk if you have saw the pitstick harvest video or not but they have quite a few 8120s with 12 row heads and they were running 6mph...wonder how much they were losing.

  • lol. you guy's should get a 9120.? plus your thinking my way now with case they are a lot better than John Deere combines. why don't you guys keep that 7120 and run two combines in stead of only one >?

  • why have two machines when one will do? save a lot of money

  • right on.

  • i would have liked to get a 9120 with tracks :) But that is more than we need. I don't think we'll ever go to 2 combines, we get a pretty early start on things. It would look pretty badass, but how much do you wanna pay to look cool??? $300,000? I'll pass, lol!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  • what new equipment is coming for next year? Another great video

  • went from a 7010 to a 8120 next year on the combine... thinking about a 4830 self-propelled JD sprayer w/ 120' aluminum booms... and a new JD 24 row planter! YEAH! If I could plant right now, I WOULD! lol

  • really cool video . one of the best videos on youtube ...

  • Thanks. I appreciate it, hope you keep watching!

  • where are you guys located from Homer? I live in So. Sioux CIty, Ne, I drive by Homer quite a bit.

  • if you look to the east (towards Port Neal) you should be able to see the leg sticking up from Hwy 77 when you get close to Homer. I need to get a Husker flag up there and it'd really stick out! We're about 7 miles from the highway, but you should be able to see it pretty easy. Let me know!

  • awesome video!

  • Thanks, glad you liked it!

  • Are you using truck only for corn harvest for cca 1 month? or have you also other jobs for them?
