Nice job. The Taurus with the metallic paint looks really good. My 20-year-old Acura Legend just had its roof resprayed by Maaco because of clear coat damage, so I know it's just a matter of time before other panels start to show some wear. I want to do the car myself instead of paying a shop $3k when the time comes. How much would you say you spent on materials to paint the Taurus?
@HowToPaintYourCar Maaco actually did a decent job on the roof, but I wouldn't let them touch any other part of my car. They did leave some sanding marks, but it's just the roof, so I didn't mind too much. It's just temporary until I decide to do the whole car.

@hoopfan71 lol, yeah Maaco jobs are not the best. A lot of DIY guys do a better job than them jobs. Materials were a few hundred. $300. or so...
